Remember the tokidoki Pirata necklace that I blogged about back in February? Well, tokidoki just let me know that the necklace will be officially released as an exclusive to shop.tokidoki.it customers only - hopefully later in the day today! It will retail for $45, be limited to 250 pieces, and there will be a new shop.tokidoki.it homepage design to celebrate its release.

Vicky from Chicki just received her shipment of new 2008 European tokidoki jewelry and took photos of it to share with us. The pendants are BIG! She took some photos of the necklaces on mannequins to give us a helpful sense of scale.

Vicky also let me know that she just got an e-mail confirming the release of the Skeletrino and Skeletrina vinyl toys. They will be in stores by mid to late June. The USA retail price will be $10.95 each, and the UK retail price will be about £6.95 each. Here is a photo of them that I ganked from Vinyl Pulse:

Jamie from JapanLA just sent me photos of the latest tokidoki watches - Razor, Pizza Mia, and Solar. She said that she is already sold out of the Razor watch (which is my favorite!), but can special order it for people.

Vicky will also be sending me some photos that she took of the new European jewelry on a mannequin soon, for those of you who missed them the first time around. She says that the charms are really big!

Vicky from Chicki just sent me photos of the European line of tokidoki jewelry that was just released. The charms are made of silk screened perspex, and the chains are brass with glass pearl accents. This is the most expensive line of jewelry yet: the first necklace with all the charms (which is sOoOoOo cute!) will retail at about £65-70.

Vicky from Chicki just sent me some photos of the latest European tokidoki clothing for women - she is going to be getting the first two items (which I think are the cutest!) in stock soon. I love the Vinile print on that cute little polo shirt! And as you can see, the European market gets tokidoki jeans for women as well.

Tara has this info to share with us about the fit of the new tokidoki for Hello Kitty clothing: “The tank and the Sandy t-shirt pictured above, run SMALL. Really small. The one pictured is a Medium, so if I were to buy this tank, I would get a Large (I’m a 36C). I love the fit of the hoodie. It reminds me of my Mozzarella Moofia hoodie (in Medium also). The hoodie kinda hugs the body, but doesn’t suffocate, it’s still a little bit loose. My waist size is 33″ and my hips are 37.” I stand 5′5″ and wear a size 6/8.”

I have a bunch of backed-up small updates that I am going to cram into this post:

• The Giant Peach received their shipment of Women’s Spring II tokidoki clothing this week, including some new items that we haven’t seen anywhere else yet (on pages 2 & 3) - check it out & don’t forget to take advantage of the exclusive 20% off sale for Tokidoki Blog readers.
• Lindsey from the Southhampton LeSportsac outlet posted a list of slight imperfections tokidoki bags that are on clearance there. The outlet contact info is in that linked post if you scroll up.
• So that comments like the one I just linked to above don’t get overlooked in the future, I changed the setup of the sidebar at the right of this blog to include a Recent Comments list. Is this helpful? Is 7 recent comments a good number or too many/not enough?
• I have received the unfortunate news that the European clothing imports that were supposed to have been available in the USA this fall have been canceled.
• Photos of the tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger sneakers have been released - thanks to Bridget for pointing this out! I think they’re cute - which apparently puts me in the “only tokidoki fans and children” category.
• Happy Six in Los Angeles received a shipment of Citta and Citta Rosa (!!) tokidoki bags this week. They are going fast. Thanks to Tara d. for the tip.

Vicky from Chicki sent me some photos of the newest 2008 European tokidoki clothing available through Fornari for us to drool over.  She may be ordering the hoodies (they are my favorites!) but wants to get the bags in stock first.

As some of you may have noticed in the comments a couple posts below, Vicky from Chicki was nice enough to stop by and give us some info about the new line of tokidoki bags from Italy.

Here is a recap of what she shared:

“I have just had my first glimpse of the new tokidoki bag range from Italy. There are 3 prints but I would say the print which is on your shopper is by far the best. I think they are calling it the 80’s print. There is also an Adios print in black and white and a camouflage print. Altogether there is 8 new bags and 1 wallet. There is also a cute new grey and white shopper which will retail for about £15.

They will range from £40 - £100 so it’s about the same as the LeSportsac prices. They have just released a new shopper thats very good value. It will retail for about £15 and is just great for the more environmentally friendly shopper. It will fold up nicely and fit in your hand bag. ”

Vicky also let me know that the bag with the girl on the front is a Spanish bag, which is very hard to find.

Remember some of the European tokidoki clothing that we have seen before on eBay and European websites that we either can’t read, can’t order from, or can’t afford the shipping costs from? As it turns out, many of these clothing items are coming to the USA this fall!  Like for instance…

I am excited - although my wallet continues to live in fear. I will post more details as they become available.

Also, speaking of items that are coming soon, the tokidoki Mimobots (which are designer flash drives) are due to be released in mid April 2008. They will hold 1GB of data and retail for $44.95. Thanks to Joyce for this info.

Reader Tara d. recently let me know that she found some additional websites that sell European exclusive tokidoki bags, including the shiny metallic heart & crossbones bag that some of us were wondering about the authenticity of awhile back. Odd World in the UK sold blue and pink versions of the metallic tokidoki bag (which confirms its authenticity - although it is now sold out). Tara has one of the pink metallic bags listed on eBay. MilkSugar out of Germany has a larger selection of European tokidoki bags (many of which are on sale right now). I have also been getting a lot of e-mails about Chicki in the UK recently, so I will give them another mention since they have only been previously posted about in the comments.

Also, for those of you who enjoy collecting unique qees to add to your tokidoki bags (like me!), ambersdad let me know that Panik’s Toy Box just added a limited edition Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Bear qee twin pack that are really cute & just in time for V-day. I’m thinking about getting them for a L’Amore bag.

As many of you have already noticed, the first wave of tokidoki for Hello Kitty items have already started popping up on eBay. One of the sellers is on my Real tokidoki Sellers list, and the other is a Tokidoki Blog reader in Japan, so I am sure that they are the real thing. This should also mean that the collaboration will be released in the USA very soon - perhaps even sooner than we have been expecting.

Also, the Italian eBay seller who keeps listing European exclusive tokidoki clothing has a red tokidoki cammo hoodie for men and an open-backed LP record shirt for women listed. Italy gets some really cool designs!

I think it’s really cute! I wonder if it is a preview for what is to come in the States, or if it will remain a European exclusive. I love the tokidoki all-over print hoodie designs - I hope there are many more to come.
