Reader Silvia sent in some more photos of items in the tokidoki store in Italy to share with us all, posted below. Isn’t the Carina bag adorable?? (Sorry the pictures are a little small – still waiting to hear back from Silvia if larger versions are available.)
Reader Henry sent in a picture of a tokidoki hoodie that was only released in Italy that he was lucky enough to find at the Melrose tokidoki store, which had imported two of them from Italy. His lucky girlfriend Zayra now owns it, pictured below.

Chicki just added two new European summer 2010 bags. Vicky tells me that they are made from a fine woven polyester fabric that seems very durable, and that they look very nice and well made in person. Each bag in a given style has the same print placement, so what you see is what you get. Chicki is also offering 10% off on orders placed through March 31, 2010 with coupon code OFFER10 (be sure to update your cart before pressing continue for the discount to be applied).
Reader Silvia also spotted the beautiful bag below in the tokidoki store in Italy and took a photo to share with us. We can also see some peeks at some of the other tokidoki items available in Italy in this photo, including belts, jeans, and sneakers.

Reader Christine spotted a tokidoki x Skullcandy headphones display at the mall recently, and snapped a photo to share with us. They are finally here – be on the lookout for them in stores!
Reader Jen B. also found and pre-ordered the headphones online at a shop called Shredding Betty that is down for maintenance at the moment – when they come back up I will add in the link.
Vicki has added a blog to the Chicki website, and has a post up about a rare pink European tokidoki x CyP bag that she is auctioning on eBay, and some rare European tokidoki bags from 4-5 years ago that she has restocked on Chicki.
Reader Ashley also spotted some older, rare European tokidoki clothing items still available on Yoox.

Vicky from Chicki sent me some photos of some tokidoki journals, stationery, binders, pencils, and pencil sharpeners that are coming soon to the European market.
She also sent me two swatches of new European winter jackets that are coming soon.
Chicki will be adding new t-shirts and belt buckles to their shop soon, followed by the arrival of Bulleto, and then the winter jackets and stationery items.

The lovely Vicky from Chicki just surprised me with my very first European tokidoki clothing item and I love it! It is so cute and versatile – I’m thinking of using it both as a scarf and as a sarong at the beach. It is made of a nice lightweight 100% cotton. I know many of you have been dying to see pictures of what it looks like, so here they are! I have it folded into quarters in the first picture (it’s BIG).

Vicky from Chicki just gave me an update on what is new in the land of European tokidoki items. Chicki will be adding these items within the next few weeks:
- New bikinis: a blue tokified Hawaiian print and a blue bikini with a koi fish print. There is also a yellow tokified Hawaiian print that they are considering stocking too. Each bikini will retail for £39.95.
- Tutti cotton scarf / shawl. This is quite large and could be used as a sarong (or curtain, according to Vicky!). Retail price £24.95.
- There is a new bag range in grey camo with turquoise tokidoki logo accents. This is an urban unisex range and includes a rucksack (£64.95), padded DJ bag (£84.95) and padded laptop case(£44.95).
- Adios and Momo plexiglass, swarovski, pearl and brass earrings (£24.95)
- Very Limited edition digital print canvas. They do not come on a frame and are huge 120 x 160 cms (£200). Vicky will find out the numbers produced and let us know.
- Skate decks – primavera, pirata, sushi girl, Cacti and La prints.

Remember the tokidoki Pirata necklace that I blogged about back in February? Well, tokidoki just let me know that the necklace will be officially released as an exclusive to shop.tokidoki.it customers only – hopefully later in the day today! It will retail for $45, be limited to 250 pieces, and there will be a new shop.tokidoki.it homepage design to celebrate its release.

Vicky from Chicki just received her shipment of new 2008 European tokidoki jewelry and took photos of it to share with us. The pendants are BIG! She took some photos of the necklaces on mannequins to give us a helpful sense of scale.
Vicky also let me know that she just got an e-mail confirming the release of the Skeletrino and Skeletrina vinyl toys. They will be in stores by mid to late June. The USA retail price will be $10.95 each, and the UK retail price will be about £6.95 each. Here is a photo of them that I ganked from Vinyl Pulse:

Vicky from Chicki just sent me photos of the European line of tokidoki jewelry that was just released. The charms are made of silk screened perspex, and the chains are brass with glass pearl accents. This is the most expensive line of jewelry yet: the first necklace with all the charms (which is sOoOoOo cute!) will retail at about £65-70.

In the pics above, she is wearing is the Medium size with the tank top underneath. Tara has this info to share with us about the fit of the new tokidoki for Hello Kitty clothing: “The tank and the Sandy t-shirt pictured above, run SMALL. Really small. The one pictured is a Medium, so if I were to buy this tank, I would get a Large (I’m a 36C). I love the fit of the hoodie. It reminds me of my Mozzarella Moofia hoodie (in Medium also). The hoodie kinda hugs the body, but doesn’t suffocate, it’s still a little bit loose. My waist size is 33″ and my hips are 37.” I stand 5’5″ and wear a size 6/8.”

Vicky from Chicki just sent me some more photos of the 2008 European tokidoki bags – check them out below. How cute are the 80s Print wallet and the Vinile baby barrel bag?! I like the t-shirt that the model in the second to last photo is wearing too. Vicky said that she is ordering the new bags this weekend and hopes to have them available in about 3 weeks.

I have a bunch of backed-up small updates that I am going to cram into this post:
- The Giant Peach received their shipment of Women’s Spring II tokidoki clothing this week, including some new items that we haven’t seen anywhere else yet (on pages 2 & 3) – check it out & don’t forget to take advantage of the exclusive 20% off sale for Tokidoki Blog readers.
- Lindsey from the Southhampton LeSportsac outlet posted a list of slight imperfections tokidoki bags that are on clearance there. The outlet contact info is in that linked post if you scroll up.
- So that comments like the one I just linked to above don’t get overlooked in the future, I changed the setup of the sidebar at the right of this blog to include a Recent Comments list. Is this helpful? Is 7 recent comments a good number or too many/not enough?
- I have received the unfortunate news that the European clothing imports that were supposed to have been available in the USA this fall have been canceled.
- Photos of the tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger sneakers have been released – thanks to Bridget for pointing this out! I think they’re cute – which apparently puts me in the “only tokidoki fans and children” category.
- Happy Six in Los Angeles received a shipment of Citta and Citta Rosa (!!) tokidoki bags this week. They are going fast. Thanks to Tara d. for the tip.
