The L’Amore Re-Release is Today!

Reader Heather just let me know that she received a call telling her that the tokidoki L’Amore print re-release is today! It should be starting about 4-5 hours after the time of this posting. As with the other tokidoki bag print re-releases, the L’Amore print re-release is happening at LeSportsac stores in Hawaii and Guam only.

ALSO: According to the Waikiki LeSportsac manager via Krisha, the May re-release of Pirata has been canceled.

I just received confirmation from a Hawaii LeSportsac employee that after the re-release of the L’Amore print in April, Pirata will be re-released in May and Spiaggia will be re-released in June – for a total of SIX print re-releases! (Or eight, if you count the 2007 Euro-exclusive original tokidoki print re-release and the DFS Citta Rosa re-release.) These print re-releases will continue to happen in Hawaii and Guam only.

Yaaaaay! I love it even more than I thought I would. I got a Buon Viaggio because I preferred the way the print looks against the black mesh on the side (it gives it some darker contrast – I know some people hate the black mesh but with this print, I love it!). There are still NO Tokidoki bags to be found in NYC or NJ stores… at least not that my friend and I could find… so I resorted to ebay. Miraculously, I won this bag for slightly under retail – and it has my ideal pattern placement! I agree with Mickey’s comment on an earlier post that the “doki” in “Tokidoki for LeSportsac” looks like a printing error, but fortunately I got pattern placement where it is barely noticeable on the front of the bag. Ok, on to the pictures!!

L’Amore Bags are Showing up in Stores Now – Have You Found Them Yet?

I heard that L’Amore print bags had started showing up at Macy’s, so I checked Macy’s Herald Square in NYC today for them, but they aren’t there yet. They still had a ton of Pirata and Adios star bags in stock though at full price. Has anyone found L’Amore bags in your city yet?
