Reader Ku`uipo just let me know that she received a call telling her that the tokidoki Spiaggia print re-release is happening tomorrow! Doors open at 9:30am at the Ala Moana LeSportsac store. As with the other tokidoki bag print re-releases, the Spiaggia print re-release is happening at LeSportsac stores in Hawaii and Guam only.
I just received confirmation from a Hawaii LeSportsac employee that after the re-release of the L’Amore print in April, Pirata will be re-released in May and Spiaggia will be re-released in June - for a total of SIX print re-releases! (Or eight, if you count the 2007 Euro-exclusive original tokidoki print re-release and the DFS Citta Rosa re-release.) These print re-releases will continue to happen in Hawaii and Guam only.
The tokidoki online store just added tokidoki for LeSportsac bags! Reader Linda just let me know that Macy’s in Herald Square, NYC, has tokidoki Famiglia print bags on clearance for 30% off, plus they take an additional 15% off that at the register because LeSportsac is on sale. They also let her use a $15 rewards coupon at the register on top of the two discounts. She said that some people were buying arm loads of bags at a time, so the sale inventory might not last long.
Reader Jenn also let me know that she found some tokidoki Bianco print bags on sale at Filene’s Basement in NYC. She remembers seeing them in the Canguro, Zucca, Gioco, and Mamma Mia styles. According to LeSportsac customer service: although the tokidoki/LeSportsac collaboration is ending after the Vacanze print is released, Lesportsac has the rights to the prints for one more year and is allowed to re-release up to 5 of them!
I am trying to get more info about which prints might be re-released when - I will post more info as I get it.
How do you all feel about this? On one hand I’m excited if they re-release some of my favorite prints, but on the other hand I was looking forward to giving my wallet a REST in 2008!

Italian Web site luisaviaroma.com has lots of excellent quality photos of the tokidoki Tutti and Trasporto bags that they have available for pre-order. Even more exciting, there is a new Adios qee visible on the Tutti bags, and it is REALLY cute! That makes me much more excited for Tutti than I thought I would be.
