Reader Liane just sent me some more tokidoki news that I missed while I was away, and I figured I would post about it since one of the promo items is still up for grabs. Back in August, tokidoki did some designs for promotional items for the 70th Annual Nisei Week (Aug. 14th-22nd) Japanese Festival in Los Angeles. The designs included an uchiwa and t-shirts, which are now sold out (but pictured below so you can see the cuteness) and posters. There are still some of the 26″x39″ Autographed Poster (limited quantity of 70) left on the Nisei Week website.

Reader Marlyn just let me know that she spotted the 2011 tokidoki calendars available for pre-order.  There is an engagement calendar (aka planner) and a wall calendar, both featuring 12 all-new designs that are exclusive to each calendar.  Both retail for $13.99, with current pre-order prices of $11.19.  The release date for both calendars is August 31, 2010.

Reader Puasmommy let me know that Tenacious Toys just added 4 new styles of tokidoki pillowcases available for pre-order. scheduled to arrive in October.  Three of the four new styles are pictured below – the 4th looks like the tokidoki Cammo Olive print from the 2006 line of tokidoki for LeSportsac bags.

Also, I’m a little late getting to this — as of August 11th, tokidoki clothing and accessories are now available to purchase for avatars on the new Xbox 360 dashboard.  Ashley, Santos, and Tiffany let me know about this -Tiffany took the photo of the girls’ clothing below for us, and Ashley sent me the other two screen grabs below (by way of joystiq.com). The hats and t-shirts cost 80 Microsoft Points which work out to be about $1 US. The skateboards are 240 Microsoft Points.

And, the new Need for Speed game for the Wii and DS (it’s called Nitro) will include tokidoki car skins – check out a sample in the third picture down!

Reader PhRiQuE recently spotted a display tokidoki phone accessories at a T-Mobile store and took a bunch of pics to share with us! T-Mobile stores are now carrying tokidoki Sidekick shells, tokidoki car and wall chargers, and the Frenzies phone charms/zipper pulls – all pictured below.
