The full line of tokidoki for Hello Kitty clothing and tokidoki summer Nautical collection clothing is up now at Trendy Stars and The Giant Peach. These crab shorts are so cute!

Trendy Stars also just added some new tokidoki watches - the Solar Watch, the Pasta Mia watch, and this new one that I haven’t seen anywhere else yet:

EAST COAST
Krisha was at Macy’s Herald Square in NYC this past Saturday and took a bunch of field report pictures to share with us all. I’m not sure how quickly these items are flying off the racks, but thought these photos would be a fun addition to this post. (And eyewitness proof that this store DOES carry these items, for those of you getting rude SAs on the phone!)

Kim in CA has this tokidoki for Hello Kitty field report to share:
I found the red shirts with the keyhole back (I GOT ONE! woot!), the light blue tube top, and the chain link crab print and more are all on sale at the Macy’s in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa/Orange county.

Also I saw the black hello kitty & tokidoki hoodies and the all over print t-shirts at Metropark at the Spectrum in Irvine.

Trendy Stars just got a shipment in of the new Summer 2008 nautical themed tokidoki clothing, as well as a good selection of items from the tokidoki for Hello Kitty collection.  They now carry the full line of tokidoki mimobots too.

As several of you have e-mailed to me and posted in the comments (thanks Jessica, Melissa, Lashonne, nxdlamb, and ariasmama - I’m a little behind and need to catch up again!), The Giant Peach just added 4 new tokidoki for Hello Kitty clothing items, including the blue t-shirt, black short sleeve hoodie, a t-shirt version of the all-over print tank top that we have seen, plus a new dress that we haven’t seen anywhere else yet. The Giant Peach’s photos show a better version of the colors of the all-over print (with the red looking correctly red instead of orangey).

Also, if you haven’t noticed it yet, I added the Tokidoki Reference Photos page and am working my way through getting all of the submissions added.

Vicky from Chicki just sent me some photos of the latest European tokidoki clothing for women - she is going to be getting the first two items (which I think are the cutest!) in stock soon. I love the Vinile print on that cute little polo shirt! And as you can see, the European market gets tokidoki jeans for women as well.

In the pics above, she is wearing is the Medium size with the tank top underneath. Tara has this info to share with us about the fit of the new tokidoki for Hello Kitty clothing: “The tank and the Sandy t-shirt pictured above, run SMALL. Really small. The one pictured is a Medium, so if I were to buy this tank, I would get a Large (I’m a 36C). I love the fit of the hoodie. It reminds me of my Mozzarella Moofia hoodie (in Medium also). The hoodie kinda hugs the body, but doesn’t suffocate, it’s still a little bit loose. My waist size is 33″ and my hips are 37.” I stand 5′5″ and wear a size 6/8.”

I’m still not sure if this season is “me” or not, but I like some of the items better now that I can see what they look like on an actual person.

Vicky from Chicki sent me some photos of the newest 2008 European tokidoki clothing available through Fornari for us to drool over.  She may be ordering the hoodies (they are my favorites!) but wants to get the bags in stock first.

Reader Dana discovered and purchased the first pair of tokidoki pants that I have seen or heard of in the USA at the grand opening of Nordstrom in Hawaii this past Friday. She sent in a photo to share with us - they are cute! I hope this means that there are more tokidoki pants on the way soon too.

Remember some of the European tokidoki clothing that we have seen before on eBay and European websites that we either can’t read, can’t order from, or can’t afford the shipping costs from? As it turns out, many of these clothing items are coming to the USA this fall!  Like for instance…

I am excited - although my wallet continues to live in fear. I will post more details as they become available.

Also, speaking of items that are coming soon, the tokidoki Mimobots (which are designer flash drives) are due to be released in mid April 2008. They will hold 1GB of data and retail for $44.95. Thanks to Joyce for this info.

Trendy Stars just added the Spring II 2008 tokidoki clothing collection to their shop. Like the men’s Spring II collection, the designs and colors are very different from what we are used to seeing from tokidoki. Also included are two brand new outerwear items - windbreakers! Here are some highlights - the yellow tank is my personal favorite from this collection:

Thank you to Leah for pointing out that tokidoki just posted pictures from the Pool Trade show to their blog - including sneak peeks at some new t-shirt designs (I see popcorn guy!!), hats, toys (including the Sandy and Mozzarella plush dolls once again, and if you bump your screen resolution up to 800×600 and look closely you’ll also see a black Skeletrino and a purple Skeletrina), sneaker-boots, jewelry, and BAGS. If you look closely at the pictures, you can see at least three different prints (Carnival and Concerto Punk, I believe, plus the new solid black) and a few different bag styles. One photo also shows the new Adios keychain design.

There are some cool European-only tokidoki items up on eBay again now. There is this all-over print t-shirt (love it! I hope it gets released in the USA!):

Other exciting news, all lifted from the interview: the next cactus friends toy released will be the cactus punk character!  That will be a must have for me.  Also coming soon are “tokidoki denim in Europe; the two cats of adios and ciao ciao called Skeletrino and Skeletrina; a new line of New Era hats; mimobots; plushes; new lines of watches, jewelry, and other cool stuff.”

ANNNDD - there are plans to open a tokidoki store in the USA in 2009.  Simone is “looking for a location.”
