Remember some of the European tokidoki clothing that we have seen before on eBay and European websites that we either can’t read, can’t order from, or can’t afford the shipping costs from? As it turns out, many of these clothing items are coming to the USA this fall!  Like for instance…

Also, speaking of items that are coming soon, the tokidoki Mimobots (which are designer flash drives) are due to be released in mid April 2008. They will hold 1GB of data and retail for $44.95. Thanks to Joyce for this info.

Trendy Stars just added the Spring II 2008 tokidoki clothing collection to their shop. Like the men’s Spring II collection, the designs and colors are very different from what we are used to seeing from tokidoki. Also included are two brand new outerwear items - windbreakers! Also, for those of you have been looking for the first-ever all-over print tokidoki hoodie, I thought I would also point out that I found a Power Seller selling one in size Large on eBay. It’s paired with a cute momo tank from a few seasons back too.

The tokidoki.it website just posted a new collaboration page for tokidoki for Ride Snowboards. The collaboration photos show an assortment of snowboard designs, matching jackets & pants for men and women, gloves, boots, and bindings. There is no info posted yet about when this collaboration will be out. For more information and leads on where to buy, I suggest staying tuned to the Ride Snowboards website.

Trendy Stars just added their shipment of Spring 2008 clothing, including the two remaining items from the collection that I mentioned were still to come. Both are so cute, I think I need to ammend my wishlist!

Trendy Stars also has the raincoats in S, M, L, and XL - so if you want one, hurry and get one, because they received very limited quantities. Their photos of the dresses show a model wearing leggings, so they are helpful in giving us a better idea of the length and what it would look like on:

I think I might need to eat my words about not liking pink… this season of tokidoki is winning me over!

I just received my package from The Giant Peach containing the Adios & Ciao Ciao all-over print t-shirt, hoodie, and raincoat, and I love it all! The sizing is quite different from the holiday 2007 clothing though. My spring 2008 t-shirt is 2 inches longer than my brown holiday 2007 t-shirt with Sandy on the swing, even though both tees are the same size. In contrast, the spring 2008 hoodie that I got is 2 inches shorter than my tan holiday 2007 hoodie with Sandy on the swing. It is also 2 inches narrower in width, so it is more of a slim fit. Therefore my sizing advice for those who buy online is to size down with the t-shirts if you are on the fence between sizes, but size up with the hoodies. For the raincoat, I got a Medium and I am happy with the fit. If anyone needs measurements, just ask. A Small would have also fit me, but I prefer the extra breathing room since the PVC the raincoats are made of has no give to it. So for the raincoat sizing I recommend that you go with whatever size tokidoki t-shirt usually fits you most comfortably.

Exciting news: other stores besides Metropark are getting the tokidoki raincoats in! Tobi and The Giant Peach will be adding them very soon, and I also spotted 3 priced fairly on eBay.

Readers Lashonne and Jess discovered another Italian store that sells tokidoki items that are not available in the USA - and this shop does allow you to order online. Sadly though, the prices are pretty killer when you factor in the exchange rate. They sell another style of tokidoki underwear, the tokidoki flip-flops that I blogged about last spring, and more clothing items (including the all-over print hoodie from the post below!). Here are a few highlights:

Reader Jess somehow unearthed this slideshow by andrea.simpson, which features a bunch more tokidoki items that I am guessing are also exclusive to Italy (or Europe?) since the title is written in Italian. Check some of this stuff out - there are tokidoki JEANS! Plus a jacket and hoodie that I absolutely adore and wish I could get my hands on:

…before a tokidoki limited edition raincoat showed up on eBay! I want one, but judging by the description, this one would be too small for me. I’m not going to let myself pay a huge over-retail markup for one though - I’m holding out hope that one of my favorite online boutiques might get some in stock.

Now that I have finally taken these new goodies off long enough to photograph them - here are some pictures of the tokidoki gifts that I got for Christmas. I love them all!

I was very excited that my full set of Cactus Pups arrived in record time from Panik’s Toy Box, so I got to open them on Christmas too. The sausage with the little face on it is too cute.

Get ready for cuteness overload! JapanLA just made a new blog post about the latest tokidoki clothing that they have in stock, including the first ever tokidoki JACKET, a heavy cable knit sweater, hoodies with fuzzy hood lining, t-shirts, and thermals. Some of the items were recently spotted in Metropark stores and on eBay, plus there are a bunch more new items that we haven’t seen anywhere else yet.
