Chooka x tokidoki Rain Pups Available Now

The Washington Shoe Company let me know that the long-awaited tokidoki x Chooka rain pups have finally shipped out to retailers. They are available now at The Giant Peach in Discoteca and tokidoki Leopard. They are also now in stock at Tobi.

Karmaloop just added tokidoki Celebrazione bags, Holiday ’08 clothing and the tall construction of the tokidoki for Chooka rain boots in “tokidoki Leopard” and “tokidoki Discoteca,” sizes 6-8. I wore my new tokidoki Leopard boots that I got from The Giant Peach to the So You Think You Can Dance tour last night and I felt pretty fabulous in them. They are so comfy too! I spotted a girl with a Vacanze Gioco in the crowd too.

New Celebrazione Print & Holiday Clothing

Tons of new goodies have arrived at tokidoki.it – the Holiday 2008 tokidoki clothing line and a new print called Celebrazione that is NYE-themed (thanks to Roya, Jessica, Bridget and those who commented for letting me know – I’m still sick & a little behind). Time to start making our holiday wishlists!

Chooka x tokidoki Rain Boots Have Arrived At…

… The Giant Peach! They received their shipment of Leopard and Discoteca rain boots already and have them available for purchase in women’s sizes 5-10.

The boots are also in stock now at Trendy Stars in adult sizes 6-10 and kid’s sizes 3 and 4 in both Leopard and Discoteca.

And as Jennifer noted in the comments, they are also in stock at Tobi (but selling out fast!) in adult sizes 6-9. Josephine also saw them up at Nordstrom!

The wait has finally ended.

Chooka x tokidoki Rain Boots Update

Washington Shoe Company just let me know that they just shipped out the tokidoki children’s rain boots (both prints) and women’s rain boots (both prints, tall construction) to retailers. The children’s boots will be extremely limited, and not available at all retailers. Some of the retailers that will have the tokidoki x Chooka boots are Fred Segal, Nordstrom, JapanLa, Piperlime, tokidoki.it, Zappos, The Giant Peach, Tobi, Trendy Stars, and Karmaloop. The rain pups will be available sometime next month.

Another Potential tokidoki Rainboot Style

Jennifer from Washington Shoe Company, who will manufacture the tokidoki x Chooka rainboots, sent me these photos of another potential rainboot style that may be produced. What does everyone think of the construction of the rain pup style below vs. the construction of the rain boot that I posted previously? Do you like both styles of boot construction or do you think one style is better than the other?

Vicky from Chicki sent me some photos of some tokidoki journals, stationery, binders, pencils, and pencil sharpeners that are coming soon to the European market.

She also sent me two swatches of new European winter jackets that are coming soon.

Chicki will be adding new t-shirts and belt buckles to their shop soon, followed by the arrival of Bulleto, and then the winter jackets and stationery items.

Tokidoki Leopard Rainboots

I just received a product photo of the second style of tokidoki x Chooka rainboots, which are called “tokidoki Leopard.” The style that I posted last week is called “tokidoki Discoteca.”

I have also received word that in addition to Nordstrom, the tokidoki x Chooka boots will also be sold at a store called Jack & Jill in Montreal, Canada.

New tokidoki Goodies on the Horizon

Coming October 1st to Nordstrom: tokidoki x Chooka rain boots! Thanks to Sailaja for letting me know and to Highsnobette for the photo.

Additional info about the boots from commenter Jen: “The Tokidoki Chooka boots will retail for $120. They will be sold in the US and Canada, in womens and kids sizes, with multiple prints. I believe there are two confirmed prints now, the one shown above and also a punk print with a leopard background.”

Coming in November 2008 – a 4th 2008 tokidoki bag print! Thanks to Amy for forwarding me this tidbit from Wikipedia:

In November 2008, tokidoki will release a new print with a New Year’s Eve celebration theme. The background color of the bags will be a combination of dark blue and lovely sky blue with sections of white. The print will feature all the beloved tokidoki characters ringing in the new year by toasting champagne and dancing (you can catch Bulleto dancing up a storm and Mozzarella having champagne with a banana haired cave-monkey). Brand new characters will also make their debut on the print such as baby new year, a John Travolta-like dancer with a disco ball head, an Adios-like dancer wearing a magician’s hat (where the hat is the magician), two mice dancing with one another, a cute baby blue chick popping out of a skull and a guy sporting a pair of “2009″ glasses. The print is bright, colorful and fun: tokidoki fans definitely have something wonderful to look forward to.

Coming in 2009: a new tokidoki character will be released as a vinyl toy! Faith let me know that this character was unveiled at the StrangeCo booth at San Diego Comic Con. He’s a monkey named Captain Coco and the people working the StrangeCo booth said he would be due out in 2009. Here are Faith’s pictures of him:
