Readers Donna and Puasmommy let me know that the tokidoki Vacanze re-release is happening today, October 29th. As with the other tokidoki bag print re-releases, the Vacanze print re-release is happening at LeSportsac stores in Hawaii and Guam only. Also whatever they have left at the Ala Moana LeSportsac store (which isn’t much) in Trasporto, Spiaggia, Notte & Fumo is 30% off. All sales final, no returns or exchanges.
Reader Ku`uipo just let me know that the tokidoki Trasporto print re-release is happening tomorrow, August 8th. That was sooner than expected! As with the other tokidoki bag print re-releases, the Trasporto print re-release is happening at LeSportsac stores in Hawaii and Guam only.

2. The Famiglia re-release happened on July 31st in Hawaii and Guam, and did not include the Nuvola, Caramella or Corriere styles. Notte was re-released on August 1st, and did not include the Nuvola or Corriere styles. Thanks to Ku’uipo, Taylor, Trixie and Donna for letting me know. The Trasporto re-release will be next, and there are rumors that a Vacanze re-release may follow.

Alert for Those Who Received Their tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger Orders This Week
For those of you who are upset that you didn’t receive the Tiger Toy in the box along with your tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger orders this week, good news. Onitsuka Tiger accidentally left them out of the boxes, but tokidoki let me know that they will be shipping a Tiger Toy to everyone that bought the shoes via the tokidoki.it website at once.

The Hawaii tokidoki Bag Print Re-Release Plot Thickens
Ku`uipo let me know that the SAs at the LeSportsac store in Ala Moana re-confirmed that Spiaggia re-release is later this month. They also said that Famiglia will be re-released in July in limited bag styles, and Trasporto will be re-released in August. (Take this info with a grain of salt, since there are so many conflicting rumors about the re-releases out there right now!) The Ala Moana SAs also said that they will NOT be carrying the new line of 2008 tokidoki bags.

We now have a contact from the RHSC LeSportsac in Hawaii to keep us updated about what is going on with the upcoming print re-releases! I am therefore encouraging everyone to keep checking the tokidoki print re-releases category of this blog for the latest news rather than calling the poor folks at the Hawaii LeSportsac stores repeatedly.
The latest update: the re-release of Spiaggia in June is CONFIRMED. The final two re-releases are still unconfirmed, which accounts for the conflicting info floating around. The only confirmed info about them right now is that the final re-releases will take place in September and November and will be based on which prints sold the best in Hawaii.

Reader Heather just let me know that she received a call telling her that the tokidoki L’Amore print re-release is today! It should be starting about 4-5 hours after the time of this posting. As with the other tokidoki bag print re-releases, the L’Amore print re-release is happening at LeSportsac stores in Hawaii and Guam only.
ALSO: According to the Waikiki LeSportsac manager via Krisha, the May re-release of Pirata has been canceled.
I just received confirmation from a Hawaii LeSportsac employee that after the re-release of the L’Amore print in April, Pirata will be re-released in May and Spiaggia will be re-released in June - for a total of SIX print re-releases! (Or eight, if you count the 2007 Euro-exclusive original tokidoki print re-release and the DFS Citta Rosa re-release.) These print re-releases will continue to happen in Hawaii and Guam only.
Reader Jessi let me know that there is a new 2008 tokidoki journal design coming soon that is available for pre-order on Amazon and TFAW.
Jessi also told me that the Waikiki LeSportsac in Hawaii still has a lot of Paradiso bags left, and that a sales guy there told her that he was expecting future shipments of tokidoki for LeSportsac bags in Inferno, Pirata, Famiglia, Tutti and Spiaggia. She thinks he might have also mentioned L’Amore. Has anyone heard anything else like this? The store is located at 2234 Kalakaua Ave. in Honolulu, HI and the store number is (808) 971-2905.

Reader Donna just let me know that she received a call from LeSportsac Ala Moana in Hawaii telling her that the tokidoki Paradiso print re-release goes on sale first thing this morning! That should be about 5 hours from the time of this posting. (And, just to clarify for new readers - the Paradiso print re-release is happening in Hawaii and Guam only.)
Reader Dana spoke with a sales associate who works at the Ala Moana, Hawaii LeSportsac store yesterday and was told that they are re-releasing 3 more prints. Like the Foresta re-release, this will happen in Hawaii and Guam only.

This info may or may not be accurate, as it is also rumored that the next print to be re-released will be Citta/Citta Rosa. I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see - but it at least sounds like the wait won’t be too long!
As expected, the flood of extremely marked-up Foresta re-release bags has begun to hit eBay. After checking out the prices, I’m thankful that I already have enough Foresta bags in my collection. The new Foresta re-release bags look exactly like the original release, which I find a bit disappointing, except that they have Adios keychains instead of tokidoki for LeSportsac white bear qees.
Reader Heather just let me know that the tokidoki Vacanze print was released in Hawaii today, and the line was out the door before the store opened! She also reported that tomorrow will be the re-release of the Foresta print, which will be exclusive to the Ala Moana LeSportsac store on Oahu. (The Waikiki stores will not be stocking the Foresta re-release).
Reader Kathy, who sent in the Foresta print re-release information in this post, just let me know that she does live in Hawaii. So I think it’s safe to bet at this point that the Foresta re-release is going to be happening in Hawaii (and possibly Guam) only. Bummer!!
More info thanks to Enigma in the comments - according to a LeSportsac SA in Hawaii, they are expecting to receive their Foresta re-release shipment in November 2007!

“I was told today that the first print to be re-released is Foresta. It should come out in 2008. One of my friends works for LeSportsac and she told me that the buyer already put the order in for them. She also told me that they are asking all the customers which print they would like to see re-released.”
