Lawnship Sneakers Available for Pre-Order
Tuesday, January 27th, 2009The tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger 2009 line of Lawnship sneakers are available for pre-order now in the tokidoki online store in 4 colorways. There are two styles that come in women’s sizes 5.5 – 11 and two “unisex” styles that come in men’s sizes 4-13. Personally I don’t see why all 4 styles can’t all be unisex if your feet fit into them and you like them. The retail price is $125 per pair.
More Spring 2009 Lawnship Sneaker Pics
Friday, January 9th, 2009Reader Melissa gave me the heads up that an Italian blog called Blogosfere has a couple more photos of the upcoming tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger “Lawnship” spring 2009 line of sneakers, which we last heard are scheduled to be released on February 1st.
Blogosfere also adds that each colorway of the tokidoki Lawnship spring 2009 sneakers will be distributed in Italy as a limited edition of 500.
Metro.Pop Magazine with tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger Inflatable Shoe
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008Reader Jaelle just wrote to let me know that she was browsing through funky and fashionable magazines at the book store and came across a magazine called metro.pop.
It was enclosed in plastic and she could tell that something interesting was inside… “It smelled like PVC and felt like it had a valve on it, I thought surely it had to be something fun and the magazine seemed cool. As soon as I got in the car I opened it up and to my surprise found the coolest free tokidoki collectible! I’ve attached pictures! 
I guess I just have a 6th sense for tokidoki, lol.”

tokidoki x Onitsuka Tiger Spring 2009 Preview
Friday, September 26th, 2008Reader Anne just let me know that Nitrolicious has a post up showing tons of photos of 3 pairs of flats and 4 pairs of sneakers from the upcoming spring 2009 tokidoki x Onitsuka Tiger footwear collection.
The flats are called “tokidoki Lunetta” and the city sneakers are called “tokidoki Lawnship.” The Lawnship sneakers will feature a glow in the dark print on the side, and are scheduled to be released on February 1, 2009. The Lunetta flats have a small heel and a bow on the back of the shoe, are scheduled to be released on April 1, 2009.

Pre-Order the tokidoki Tiger Toys at Panik’s Toy Box
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008Panik’s Toy Box just added the tokidoki Tiger toys in white, pink, yellow, and orange for pre-order. The toys are part of the tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger collaboration, are made of ABS Plastic, and stand 6 inches tall. The estimated ship date is August 2008.
Panik’s Toy Box is offering double Panik points on all purchases made now through July 26th. They also have a Third Anniversary Contest running now through July 31st.
Infrequent Posting Alert Until August

As you may have already noticed, I am going to be slower than usual with posting and responding to e-mails and comments for the month of July, so please don’t think I am ignoring you if my responses take forever until next month.

- The Giant Peach has the Mozzarella and Sandy plush dolls in stock now. They added the tokidoki Miao vinyl toy as well. Lynn also let me know that there are a bunch of the tokidoki plush on eBay.
- The tokidoki for Ride collaboration items are starting to pop up in stores – Jessica found them on IskiShop.
- Jessica also sent me a bunch of photos (below) of toys that will be released at SDCC this month – tokidoki for Onitsuka tiger vinyl toys, a platinum Bulleto, platinum cactus friends, and platinum pups! Joslyn let me know about these items too, and Bridget contributed additional photos of the tokidoki tokyoplast

Thursday, June 12th, 2008Alert for Those Who Received Their tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger Orders This Week
For those of you who are upset that you didn’t receive the Tiger Toy in the box along with your tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger orders this week, good news. Onitsuka Tiger accidentally left them out of the boxes, but tokidoki let me know that they will be shipping a Tiger Toy to everyone that bought the shoes via the tokidoki.it website at once.

Trendy Stars just let me know that they added the tokidoki for Hello Kitty plush toys to their shop (and they ship internationally for those of you not in the USA!).
The Hawaii tokidoki Bag Print Re-Release Plot Thickens
Ku`uipo let me know that the SAs at the LeSportsac store in Ala Moana re-confirmed that Spiaggia re-release is later this month. They also said that Famiglia will be re-released in July in limited bag styles, and Trasporto will be re-released in August. (Take this info with a grain of salt, since there are so many conflicting rumors about the re-releases out there right now!) The Ala Moana SAs also said that they will NOT be carrying the new line of 2008 tokidoki bags.

Monday, June 9th, 2008Tobi just updated with a few items from the summer tokidoki nautical collection, plus a good selection of watches (including styles that may have sold out before some of us could get their hands on them!).
The Sanrio online store has a big selection of tokidoki for Hello Kitty items up now, including some that I haven’t seen elsewhere yet outside of ebay. Thanks to Linda for the tip.
Lashonne let me know about two new tokidoki beach towels that she found on Yoox: one style for women and one for men. The photos don’t show much of the designs, but here are the little tidbits that they do show:

tokidoki Bag Print Re-Release Updates
We now have a contact from the RHSC LeSportsac in Hawaii to keep us updated about what is going on with the upcoming print re-releases! I am therefore encouraging everyone to keep checking the tokidoki print re-releases category of this blog for the latest news rather than calling the poor folks at the Hawaii LeSportsac stores repeatedly.
The latest update: the re-release of Spiaggia in June is CONFIRMED. The final two re-releases are still unconfirmed, which accounts for the conflicting info floating around. The only confirmed info about them right now is that the final re-releases will take place in September and November and will be based on which prints sold the best in Hawaii.

Friday, March 21st, 2008I have a bunch of backed-up small updates that I am going to cram into this post:
- The Giant Peach received their shipment of Women’s Spring II tokidoki clothing this week, including some new items that we haven’t seen anywhere else yet (on pages 2 & 3) – check it out & don’t forget to take advantage of the exclusive 20% off sale for Tokidoki Blog readers.
- Lindsey from the Southhampton LeSportsac outlet posted a list of slight imperfections tokidoki bags that are on clearance there. The outlet contact info is in that linked post if you scroll up.
- So that comments like the one I just linked to above don’t get overlooked in the future, I changed the setup of the sidebar at the right of this blog to include a Recent Comments list. Is this helpful? Is 7 recent comments a good number or too many/not enough?
- I have received the unfortunate news that the European clothing imports that were supposed to have been available in the USA this fall have been canceled.
- Photos of the tokidoki for Onitsuka Tiger sneakers have been released – thanks to Bridget for pointing this out! I think they’re cute – which apparently puts me in the “only tokidoki fans and children” category.
- Happy Six in Los Angeles received a shipment of Citta and Citta Rosa (!!) tokidoki bags this week. They are going fast. Thanks to Tara d. for the tip.
