lucy - it says “this page is a work in progress” at the top of the page for a reason, it’s not finished yet.
I am very busy lately, so I work on this blog as much as I can.
Eve- the answer to both of your questions is yes.
And to everyone - you’re welcome! I am going to work on this page some more today.
April 17th, 2007 at 12:23 pm
recently bought a notte (gioco) from ebay and the inside print is citta, is this fake? seller said its authentic and I’ve checked the site for “fake” bag and the bag seems to fit all authentic categories. I don’t know what print fits what color, I’ve tried Macys and Nordstrom but they don’t have Notte color (the stores where I went don’t carry notte color yet). Let me know! ^_^ Thanks
April 17th, 2007 at 4:08 pm
Eve - if everything else about the bag seems real, it is real. Citta is the correct inside print for the Notte bags.

i think i may have found a name for the original print! i found this on the tokidoki.it website:
“Luna, one of the first prints in the series, features kitchy stars, milk cartons and tulips in tokidoki’s signature cool style.”
it was in the spring ‘06 section of the site..
btw i love looking at the bags on this page! =D
April 21st, 2007 at 3:59 pm

Yey, the more you update it the more I’m lovin’ it!
April 25th, 2007 at 1:52 am
Thank you so much for this blog.
I think someone mentioned in the purse forum that MAMMA retails for $108.
April 26th, 2007 at 9:25 pm
hello, i was wondering if you sold the tokidoki bookbag and how much it was because i would lik to get it cheaper than the real price????
April 28th, 2007 at 11:14 am
I am still looking for spring 2006 Tokidoki stellina and bambione bags. Can you help me. I love the print.
April 28th, 2007 at 9:27 pm
Stephanie- you are doing a fantastic job on your archive- this is a priceless resource for serious tokidoki fans!
keep up the great work!
April 30th, 2007 at 2:15 pm
how do you clean your tokidoki bag? tried moist cloth can’t get the dirt out, any ideas? thanks
April 30th, 2007 at 10:16 pm
I like the fact that there is an archive here and i constantly check back to refer to it but it hasnt been updated much since the first time i visited it a while ago. when are you planning on updating it?
May 1st, 2007 at 3:37 pm
Paige & Q - I don’t know how to help you out - sorry! Try checking in with some retailers in your area.
Mickey - Thank you.
Eve - click the “Cleaning Tokidoki bags” link under Categories.
Laurice - I try to update this page a little bit each week, my work hours have been too crazy lately to allow for much more. I’m doing my best!
May 1st, 2007 at 11:23 pm
i am looking for a tokidoki print, similar to the paradiso, but with a little girl with pigtails on it.
May 2nd, 2007 at 2:15 pm
haha awesome! it’s updated again since I last looked at it! you’re doing an awesome job
May 3rd, 2007 at 12:30 pm
Hi from México! Congratulations! it is an excelent guide! I have a question, hope you can help me: i saw on ebay a Bella citta rosa, does this model exist or do you think is a fake, it has the le sport sac and tokidoki tag, also the quee seems to be real. Thanks!
May 3rd, 2007 at 3:12 pm
Terrific guide to the wonderful world of Tokidoki Lesportsac bags. I am a recent fan and just turned on to them as of late, but I am already building quite a collection for a late starter. My favorite style is the bambione. Its the perfect size for the weekend and allows for completely hands free shopping. I also want to that you the contact information of Southampton Lesportsac Outlet. The staff was so helpfule (especially Lindsay), and I am able to have the exact bags I was looking for sent right to my door. Well done Tokidoki blog. Keep up the good work.
May 3rd, 2007 at 8:58 pm
Nora - although I can’t guarantee that the bag you saw was real, the Bella Citta Rosa does exist.
Everyone else - thanks!
May 4th, 2007 at 4:20 pm
Oh my goodness! What did I stumble upon? I knew this tokidoki line was going to be popular but - wow! I’m so glad I found this site and especially the tip on how to clean my cute little bag. Thanks so much! p.s. I got mine (bambino in citta rosa) a couple of days ago at Century 21 in lower Manhattan. It was about 36 pct off.
May 7th, 2007 at 10:11 pm
Hi
Great guide and site! Extremely helpful. I was wondering is there a Cangurino in the Citta Rosa print? Thanks in advance!
May 10th, 2007 at 9:28 pm
Hi, my sister recently bought a tokidoki lesportsac off ebay. It is called Josie 7353 in Leopard/ Tiger print with pink lining. It has the little tags/ chains on it and the correct colour zippers but no qee…Did they ever make a leopard print one? Could it be a fake?
As we are in Australia and they aren’t sold here we have no idea what to look for…thank goodness for discovering this site!
THANK YOU!
May 15th, 2007 at 12:13 pm
tahls, it is definitely one of the styles that lesportsac makes, but it is not part of the tokidoki collection.
May 16th, 2007 at 4:19 am
Hello-I was wondering what the inside fabric (print) is for the black canguro this season. Thanks.
May 21st, 2007 at 5:32 pm
This is really amazing! Thank you for putting all of these up! : D I was wondering when you’ll be able to put up the Winter 2006 collection? Anyways, thanks again for all your hard work! >: 3
May 22nd, 2007 at 12:50 am
I am completely obsessed w/ le sport sac. Ils sont tres magnifique! I only have 2 and I can’t wait to purchase more from the new summer 07 collectin. Thank you for these images, so cute ^_______^
May 27th, 2007 at 2:07 am
I seriously regret not buying the Cita Rose print suitcase when it was available online at Urban Outfitters at 15% off X(. This is probably a stupid question but is there any way to buy past season prints? I love the summer print, even if the inside color is yellow. I have to get it, My life will be partially meaningless if I dont own at least one tokidoki design from lesportsac.
May 27th, 2007 at 2:12 pm
I’ve seen just a lot of the styles sold at Macy’s and Nordstrom and was wondering if anyone ever saw a Trenino anywhere at a store that wasn’t online. I seem to be finding them online only.
May 29th, 2007 at 7:42 am
Wow… I love yr blog. I’m a lover of Tokidoki bags too and I get lots of Info from your blog abt it…… Keep up and good work. i will definiately be checking back for more info in the near future.
May 29th, 2007 at 8:16 pm
Chris: I believe the SouthHampton Store still has the Winter 2006 prints in the trenino. Call them at 1-631-283-1733 and find out. They’re 25% off the retail price so the bag is 223.50. You’ll have to pay your state tax and shipping. They’re really nice and will help with print placement. Hope that helps.
May 31st, 2007 at 2:12 pm
ok, I got this 1st edition black scuola (backpack) on ebay, the seller listed as authentic and I have checked everything seemed to bee authentic expect for one major thing, the outside zipper is not rainbow color. I have never physically see a first edition scuola before, and I cannot see the color of the zipper posted here for the 1st edition black scuola. Please advice! >_
June 1st, 2007 at 6:33 am
wow kewl my sisterhas the angel one since she thinks she an “angel” and i’m the devil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol
June 1st, 2007 at 2:36 pm
Eve — I believe there was a discussion about the original scuola’s front zipper and someone who had it said the zipper is supposed to be white. Check the “Guide to Fake Tokidoki Bags” blog. But here is what that person said about it: (check it because there were other comments about it on the blog)
“Yes I have an original Scuola and the front zipper is white. I did some checking around after I bought it ’cause I was concerned and several people on tPF who had purchased original Scuolas directly from LeSportSac or from reputable places like Macy’s or Nordies confirmed the bags they bought also had white zippers.
It was only later Scuolas that had the colored zippers on the front pocket. And I think some fake Original Scuolas may have rainbow zippers which makes it even more confusing!
The front zippers on the Original Scuoloas do have two green zipper pulls, a lof of the fakes don’t have those.”
June 1st, 2007 at 11:45 pm
Thanks Maroon! I did contact the seller she told me she got it from Macys. The scuola that she sold me have two green zipper pulls (note: no riri on the back) I will check out the blog, thanks! ^_
June 3rd, 2007 at 5:26 am
Hiyee
Do you know a place that still has FORESTA? I missed that one when it came out,
June 3rd, 2007 at 7:06 pm
Well, the only place that I know of is Ebay. Even the Southhampton Outlet never received any. I actually brought a foresta stellina once but returned it for a paradiso one instead. Now I’m looking for it as well. haha.
June 3rd, 2007 at 10:52 pm
Thanks Maroon, I should have checked the blog before I bought it for $260 XP. It’s still cheaper than if I bought it at the retail price. It was expensive but totally worth it. I love it soo much. I was lucky to the pink haired girl and the one on the motorcycle in the center of the bag.
June 5th, 2007 at 6:02 pm
EVE- it’s the zipper *heads* that should have “riri” on them, not the pulls.
June 5th, 2007 at 8:38 pm
hey i bought this lesportsac bag online but i’m not sure if it’s fake and i don’t see the design on this blog. is it possible if you can help me confirm it’s authentic?
June 6th, 2007 at 11:38 pm
alli- thanks for the correction! ^_-.. I meant riri on the head of the zipper (where you can flap it to see it on the back of the zipper head). I don’t think I want to ever get the first edition print of tokidoki again, it is so hard to confirm its authenticity.
Jasmine–you can copy the website on this blog and I think a lot of us will try to give you some good advices.
June 7th, 2007 at 4:59 pm
eve- so, when you flip the zipper part inside out, the back of the heads don’t say riri? that’s too bad :-/ are you meaning the outside one though? because i thought just the rainbows should have that, not any solid colored ones. someone correct me if i’m wrong about that. i know the inside-pocket solid-colored ones aren’t riri.
jasmine- if you can post links to pictures, people that read this, or the owner of this blog can definitely let you know.
June 7th, 2007 at 5:07 pm
Alli, you are correct - only the zipper heads on the rainbow zippers should have “riri” stamped on them.
Jasmine, have you checked out the Guide to Fake Tokidoki Bags on this site? It should help you out - if not, let us know.
June 7th, 2007 at 8:03 pm
alli–I know the rainbow zippers got riri on them, but my major concern was with the 1st season tokidoki black scuola zipper color, because the one I got was black and not rainbow. Anyway, I went to the blog about that matter and I got more confused, apparently the blog were talking about the 1st season origincal pattern (don’t know the pattern name but they are the ones with only flowers and cactus) and not the black ones. My advice on the 1st season tokidoki print is Avoid buying them from Ebay–unless you know it is real for sure. ^_-
June 8th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
Does anyone know if the SouthHampton store had a portatelefono in the winter 2006 print (citta rose)?
June 10th, 2007 at 3:19 am
Chris: No, they never had any citta or citta rosa prints. They do have inferno, paradiso and notte. Hope that helps!
June 13th, 2007 at 1:58 pm
Love this archive! Can’t wait for updates so I can collect what I’m missing!
June 21st, 2007 at 1:48 pm
I am interested in the gioco inferno. I have not seen one in person so I cannot get a feel for the size. After digging thru this site (I love it, btw!!) I came to realize that there are very few pics of the gioco and I was wondering 2 things…do you not like the gioco style? And do you have a photo of a person holding one. I took a look at Karmaloop and there is a photo of the Adios Star gioco with a girl holding it, but she looks like she is the size of a 10 year old so the bag looks huge!! Can you help?
June 21st, 2007 at 4:56 pm
Shellie - I don’t own any Giocos. I am not personally a big fan of the style, but many people love it. I have tried it on at Macy’s before though, and I think Karmaloop’s photo is a good representation of the size.
June 21st, 2007 at 5:16 pm
Thank you for the comment. I am a fan of the Inferno pattern, but I need a bag that will fit me/and my stuff. Between my son and husband putting stuff in my bag and all the junk I have to take with me everywhere now since I had my braces put on….I need to find a big enough bag but I dont want to look like Im carrying luggage. The purse I use now is 10Hx10Lx5W. Any suggestions other than the gioco? And also, what is it about them you do not like?
June 22nd, 2007 at 11:48 am
I wouldn’t say I don’t like the Gioco - it’s just not one of my favorite styles. I have considered getting one, but the shape doesn’t show off the print very well IMO, so I usually opt for a different style that does. I personally like the Buon Viaggio, Campeggio, Ciao Ciao and Zucca. If you like the Gioco though, don’t let me talk you out of it - get one!
June 22nd, 2007 at 12:00 pm
Can you help me PLEASE~~~~
I purchased a Tokidoki Citta Ciao on ebay June 13th and I purchased a Pirata Ciao also. I put the Citta Ciao back on ebay to sell it due to I did not need two. Someone has messaged me and said that it is a fake. I put both bags together they look the same the buttons, the material (tiny small squares that the material is made from),all the hooks say Lesportsac, the quee has a star, the chain is large, the hooks on this is silver not gold like the Pirata bag. Can you please help me. I have this on ebay it is ending soon. I have send an email to ebay for them to look into. It has a bid on so I do not know what I can do. I would never sell a fake and if it is I will contact me buyer and get my money that way. But to me it does look good. The lady said that they did not make a Citta Ciao, but maybe this is not the print and it is listed with the wrong print. Or maybe I have 2 fake purse’s, I have no idea.
June 22nd, 2007 at 12:19 pm
Cori - what would you like us to do to help? I can tell you that the lady is dead wrong and that Citta Ciaos were indeed made. As you can see, I have them listed here in this bag archive.
June 22nd, 2007 at 1:47 pm
Is there anyway you can go to the www.ebay.com site and see if my bag looks to be authentic. I did see on your site that yes the Citta print was made and it is to have pink liner which it has. I believe my item number is 320128541356 It is the only Citta Ciao on the site (only 36 item) My auction ends tonight at 10:00. If you could help that would be great. And that you so much for your fast reply, I appreciate anything that you might be able to tell me.
Thank you in advance,
Cori
June 22nd, 2007 at 4:16 pm
Cori, your bag is 100% real. Anyone who told you otherwise is just plain wrong!
June 22nd, 2007 at 5:39 pm
omg, i totally love this sight. i found it in the nick of time. it saved me from buying fakes off ebay. so before i bid on a tokidoki bag, i make sure to stop by this sight to check if the bag is indeed authentic. thanks again!!! you are doing a really good thing! keep up the good work!
June 23rd, 2007 at 1:36 pm
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND HELP!!!! This site is the BEST, I have you on my favorites and I have told all of my friends about your site. Thank you again.
June 24th, 2007 at 3:20 am
Hi. I really like the original print and I know righ tnow, I can never buy it anywhere. I was wondering if you can help me out and tell me if this canguro is real.
I just started to become a fan of tokidoki and just wanted to make sure it was 100% real. Thank you.
June 24th, 2007 at 3:24 am
and if not that one, how about this one
June 25th, 2007 at 3:07 pm
christina- seller of item# 270136255874 is a good seller, as far as i know. and they have better feedback than the other.
June 26th, 2007 at 9:31 pm

((email me plz.. ixismimeixi@hotmail.com))
July 4th, 2007 at 2:53 am
THANKS FOR SAVING MY butt!
July 4th, 2007 at 7:01 am
do you know which print was the most popular? and which was the least? i just bought a adios star dolce bag. i don’t really see much of the adios star. i wonder if it’s because it’s white?
July 5th, 2007 at 1:14 am
Christina, if you still want an “original print,” LeSportsac has released a “2nd Edition” of that print in a few styles, which are available only through the LeSportsac outlets. They have silver hardware (not the original blue/green HW) and the regular qee (not meomi/dalek qees), but they are 25% off retail. Give the Southampton outlet a call and see what styles they have left, if you are interested.
July 5th, 2007 at 6:21 pm
once again i would like to THANK YOU for this site. It has saved me from buying anymore fake tokidoki’s. now before i even think about bidding I refer back to the page to make sure everything is authentic. can’t wait to see all the tokidoki styles!
July 5th, 2007 at 9:21 pm
To the last few commenters saying thank you - you’re welcome!
Hope you’re enjoying the new updates.
joanne - it seems like the most popular prints are Foresta and tan Playground. Least favorite I don’t know, but for me personally it’s Arancia. I think it’s just hideous. :p
July 7th, 2007 at 7:17 am
my daughter (like her mother) is now loving the tokidoki bags. she wants one for school. what bag would you recommend to be used as a book bag. thanks =)
July 9th, 2007 at 6:47 pm
joanne - i’d probably go with a campeggio (measures 13×14x6). it’s a pretty good size messenger bag. there’s also the scuola (backpack style). if she’s putting in a lot of books, i’d probably go scuola (measures 12.5×11.25×5.25) if it’s just a few, i think the messenger is good. the campeggio would also be a great purse if she ever wants a big one.
July 10th, 2007 at 7:14 am
thanks leslie for the information! i decided to get her the campeggio!
July 11th, 2007 at 5:17 pm
Hi, I bought a tokidoki bag from eBay few days ago, and I just discovered this website, I wonder whether my bad is a real or a fake one, could you tell? Here is the bag I got.
Please have a look for me, I trust your professional comment! Thanks!
July 12th, 2007 at 1:35 pm
I LOVE your site so much and have bookmarked it on all computers I have access to. I am looking at a Scuola on Ebay in the Paradiso print. It has a yellow lining and the seller has 100% postive feedback. Did Paradiso come in scuola? I like this style better than Nuvola and LOVE LOVE Paradiso, but don’t want to get ripped off. Thank you so much.
July 13th, 2007 at 2:34 pm
living in aus pretty much sucks!!
i didnt buy the bag i wanted when it was out… and now if i can find it on ebay and its not a fake they wont ship to australia
i want the campeggio tokidoki print or maybe inferno print
or the adios star print but in a campeggio which i dont think was made?
July 14th, 2007 at 3:23 pm
Renee,
I sometimes have that problem living in Hawaii–Ebay sellers won’t ship to Hawaii. Do you have friends in the U.S. that you could use their shipping address? That is what I’ve done in the past. I wish you luck–I am constantly on Ebay and this site, doing my research to find the Tokidoki I want.
July 15th, 2007 at 9:30 pm
Carmen - read my How to Avoid Fake Tokidoki Bags on eBay guide on this site for a primer on the difference between real and fake tokidoki bags & reassurance.
Kathy - cool, glad to hear it! Yes, Paradiso bags came in Scuola.
Renee - Every tokidoki print has been available in the Campeggio style.
July 15th, 2007 at 9:46 pm
i’m really angry because i cant find the citta nuvola any were for less then $150 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really love the bags and i think citta is the best print it just to cute! please does any one know?
July 18th, 2007 at 4:02 pm
I only recently (kind of) discovered the tokidoki label when I was in NYC for a bit. It was last Christmas so the foresta line was out and I saw it in a Macy’s store but I couldn’t afford to get it. I’ve been trying to find it online but I can’t find it and I’m getting quite frustrated and sad. Can anyone help me??
July 18th, 2007 at 9:52 pm
Have you tried lesportsac, macys, nordstrom, planetfunk or ebay for example, LiNh? Those are some examples of places that sell tokidoki for lesportsac (online and in-store).
$150 is less than that bag retailed for, margo.
July 19th, 2007 at 9:50 pm
Try Filene’s Basement.. I found Paradiso, Citta and Inferno prints for $109 in Scuola, $119 for Nuvola and Corriere styles. $69 for Bambino
In Loehmans’ it’s about $10 more for those styles.
July 19th, 2007 at 9:52 pm
.. oh, and Trenino in Paradiso and Inferno prints were $189-ish at Filene’s Basement
July 22nd, 2007 at 11:33 pm
Hello,
I was just wondering. Has anyone else had problems with the colors on the rainbow zippers coming off after a few weeks of using the Tokidoki bags? It’s not really that noticeable, but you can see that the color is slightly chipping off after repeated use of the zippers. I am not rough with my bags at all and I’m meticulous about trying to keep them clean so it is a little disappointing that after paying a good amount of money ( these bags are quite expensive), these bags don’t seem to be holding up as well as I expected them to. I do have 2 more brand new Tokidoki bags ( a Famigila in Gioco and a Citta Soula) but I have decided that I will just keep them in my closet as a collection instead of actually using them because I’m afraid that it might happen to these bags as well. I really do love these bags because they are so cute and plan on continuing on with my collection, but I don’t think that I will be using them on a regular basis because the hardware just doesn’t seem to hold up to the test. Just my opinion!
July 24th, 2007 at 4:12 pm
is this real? I know nothing about MMs & am not interested, but it’s used&starting @$100 if anyone’s interested. It looks real to me from pics, but I’d recommend pics of underneath the zipper head.
July 24th, 2007 at 4:19 pm
allison - That bag is real.
casualcollector - I have not had that problem with any of my bags.
July 24th, 2007 at 11:50 pm
I use my bambione and my wallet all the time and the zipper colors are good.
July 25th, 2007 at 1:32 pm
thanks you guys for your responses. Maybe I’m being a tad bit too picky about the zippers!
July 26th, 2007 at 9:53 pm
does anyone know what the interior is on the notte on sale on the lesportsac website? is it citta?
btw love this site!! i’ve been looking for a listing of all the different styles and prints. keep up the good work!
July 27th, 2007 at 3:18 am
i was shopping around the mall today and i saw a small collection at a store. there was this white waist bag, which i believe is the Canguro, and dam i fell in love with it immediately! but i don’t see anywhere that mentions a white edition to be ever included in the collection (white as in no other cartoonic prints). could it be a fake by any chance?? cause it sure felt like the ripi stop material. it was tagged for $125
July 27th, 2007 at 12:21 pm
katsura - Yes, Notte has Citta inside. It’s the same Notte that I have pictured with the Winter 2006 Collection. And thanks!
kaysta - The white bag you saw is the Bianco print - I have mentioned as coming soon at the very bottom of this page’s text. It’s real!
July 28th, 2007 at 12:43 pm
Is the Pirata print really Winter 07? That seems like a mistake to me? :]
July 28th, 2007 at 2:58 pm
Eeek!!!!!! I am in love with this blog!!! You are doing a great job on this blog tokidokiblog (if its okay for me to call you by that name)
If anyone is interested in the Gioco style bag. I own one and here Adv. & Dis. On the Gioco.
Adv.
———-
1. You can put a lot of stuff and it won’t feel heavy.
2. Very nice style and the handels are great.
3. Bag lays under you’re arm.
4. Amazing front pocket
5. Big enough to hold a magazine!
Dis.
———
1. Hard to reach for stuff when you have an emergancy.
2. The bottom doesn’t have support so you items can go crazy.
3. Won’t lay well when you put it on table or lap.
4. Sometimes your items will fall out if you don’t put the bag on a table or something with a hard surface
5. Some prints don’t look with the Gioco.
Tokidoki Blog,
You have the same taste of style bags as I do! I love Buon Viaggo.
July 28th, 2007 at 5:26 pm
yay! This weekend I was on a search for a tokidoki bag archive. Just one place where I could see images of all your prints and not have to deal with ads and other useless junk. hahah! thank you so much, this was very useful.
July 28th, 2007 at 8:48 pm
Brie - hehe, you can call me tokidokiblog if you want to, or you can call me by name (Stephanie).
And great pro/con list for the Gioco! I still consider getting one from time to time, but there are too many other styles that I like better and keep getting instead.
sakiwaki - you’re welcome! more updates still to come.
July 28th, 2007 at 9:23 pm
Hi Stephanie, greets from Mexico City thanks for all the information, keep the good work, you’re doing great ñ_ñ .ok let’s go: i saw a famiglia in dolce, does that bag really exist? and what’s the inside for famiglia print? thanks 4 your time.take care =)
July 28th, 2007 at 9:35 pm
Alehtse - you’re welcome, and thanks! Famiglia Dolces do exist, and the inside color is orange.
July 28th, 2007 at 10:51 pm
It’s me again ñ_ñ i know you’re a very very bussy girl, but if u could help me i would appreciate it!!!!! here’s the mentioned bag i’m interested in.
=)
July 28th, 2007 at 11:01 pm
Alehtse - that bag is real. The price the seller is charging is equal to $40 USD more than the retail price, though. If you can find a seller in the USA who is willing to ship to Mexico, I think you could get that bag for much cheaper.
July 29th, 2007 at 3:39 am
Thanks Stephanie! Not to mention that you are able to fit a pj set in the Gioco bag and still the bag won’t feel heavy.
And don’t worry Step I have hard times to choose which style bag I should get. Like the Famigila bag. I originally wanted to get in Campeggino but my favourite characters weren’t on it then I saw the buon viaggo and it had all the characters I wanted and fell in love with how the print goes with the bag so I got it and now I am enjoying it.
Now I want to get an Adios Star and having a hard time in which bag to get it.
But I first want to get Adios Star and then tutti cause I need to see it in person.
Now that I like the Buon Viaggo I might consider another one in Amore.
Tokidoki bags are addicting.

Steph, tnks for reply mi comments,it was so helpfull.I saw the famiglia dolce i love, unfortunately at this moment i don’t have the money, and the characters on these bags aren’t my favorites =) so i considered myself “lucky” with the bag on that link i posted. And yes, you’re right it’s more expensive than the others but i think it works for me,and think i must get it,because there’s no retailers at my country :S then, you can send me a bag or anything whenever you want XD
July 30th, 2007 at 5:16 am
Stephanie-THANKS for doing this. before i think about buying a bag on ebay i use this as a reference. i must be on ur site atlease 3x a day. thanks again and keep up the good work!
July 31st, 2007 at 1:35 am
Thank you for this! Hopefully it will help me in determining the fakes on E-bay!
August 1st, 2007 at 11:52 pm
Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
Thanks to this great archive and the “Avoiding Fakes” blog I knew Tokidoki bags inside and out before ever having seen one in person. It has really helped me find the real deal when purchasing on eBay. Only recently discovering the cuteness, I am a new addict, and can only buy discontinued bags from eBay.
THANK YOU!! for all your long, hard work, Tokidoki blog!!
August 2nd, 2007 at 9:24 am
You’re welcome, everyone!
August 2nd, 2007 at 10:35 pm
Do you plan to ever have the full swatches of every print added to the archive? It is awsome as is, I was just wondering because it would show ALL the characters and scenes of the prints. [like the Tutti you just posted]. This would help when choosing print placemment.
I want a bag with this cutie, and this one, and THIS one … you get the idea. =)
August 2nd, 2007 at 10:40 pm
tokimagic - I don’t have full swatches for every print. I would post them if I did!
August 2nd, 2007 at 10:50 pm
hey can any of you verify if this bag is a fake? Its on ebay..
Everything looks perfect except the qee got ripped off.. says the seller
Item number: 280130702791
Thank You so much!
August 2nd, 2007 at 10:52 pm
Also does anyone know where I can buy the Green Meomi qee back?
August 3rd, 2007 at 11:32 am
you can get the meomi qee on ebay! i saw an auction for 3 qee, including the meomi one.
August 3rd, 2007 at 12:22 pm
Yeah but too bad the bidding price is way too high, i’m not a collector I just want to replace the old qee that got ripped off..
August 4th, 2007 at 3:57 pm
sxxydoll-it looks real to me. u got a real good deal on a bag that is no longer made. but to make sure it’s real look under the zipper it should have engraved “riri”.
August 5th, 2007 at 5:01 pm
I am looking for the angel and evil line from winter 2006. They are not sold in department stores any more…so hard to find…sos
August 5th, 2007 at 11:52 pm
Princess…the Angel “PARADISO” and Devil “INFERNO” arent’ sold at stores no more. they are older prints. you might be able to find them in the Lesportsac outlets but you best bet is EBAY!
August 7th, 2007 at 2:00 am
The zipper as in the metal green thing?
Anyone else want to help confirm if my bag is real?
The item number again is: 280130702791
August 7th, 2007 at 4:47 am
sxxydoll-check the zipper
here is a picture of where the “riri” would be
http://i11.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/ag/77/5016_1.JPG
August 7th, 2007 at 2:03 pm
sxxydoll: what makes you think it’s not real?
August 7th, 2007 at 7:11 pm
Well the seller who sold it to me was listed on the fake ebay sellers list.. but everything seems so real
August 7th, 2007 at 7:12 pm
Oh and thanks NiseBaby, it does say riri under the zipper!
August 8th, 2007 at 8:23 pm
ah,sxxydoll i see now. they sell fakes and a couple real ones mixed in. so strange. as long as it’s got ‘riri’ you’re ok though
August 9th, 2007 at 6:33 am
yah, i checked out this sellers auction…looks like everything she sold was real, except one thing. but as i searched more, it looks like she bought it from someone on ebay and re-sold it. hmm..maybe he/she was unaware of authenticity
but i know if “riri” is there, it’s real.
August 9th, 2007 at 2:03 pm
if someone bought a fake from ebay and resold it, they definitely knew it was a fake.
August 10th, 2007 at 2:23 pm
i think that is so sad that people make fakes. i would be so angry if i spent my money and then got a couterfeit tokidoki. people have no shame!
August 10th, 2007 at 4:22 pm
But in some countries they make counterfeits for people who know it is counterfeits haha… I don’t think it is all that bad for fakes, as long as you KNOW it is a fake.. some people just can’t afford the real deal so they get a replica of it or they just rather not spend their life savings on one..
August 10th, 2007 at 8:26 pm
Well my birthdays coming up in like october… So far away… But my mother promised me a bag, cause the ones they have right now are abit ugh. Brown I hate, and the black and white just a bit blank faced. But i can’t wait, eeeeeh! I’d rather spend extra cash for the real thing then some imitation.
August 11th, 2007 at 12:28 am
hello. hopefully you all can help me with my question.. i am interested in purchasing the spiaggia ciao ciao on ebay. i was wondering if the prints of each bag are matched corner to corner for every bag made in this type. i’ve notice that some characters were in different places as i searched.. or perhaps could this be because the prints are cut differently when making each bag????
looking forward to the response.. (hopefully i make sense! =)
August 11th, 2007 at 4:56 am
adiosciaociao-yah all bags are made different. that is what makes them unique. everyone has a different print placment.
August 11th, 2007 at 8:32 am
Hi tokidoki blog,
I have read your “how to avoid fake…” but would still appreciate if you can tell me if this is authentic as I’ve never bought anything from ebay before and am worried of fakes…..
link to yahoo auction
Thanks a million! U’re the best! =)
August 11th, 2007 at 8:33 am
Linda- yah definately! Tokidoki is worth spending that extra cash since its only 2bills, but if we’re talking about the more expensive brands like lv and stuff like that, its kind of pointless spending that extra cash when everyone else will think its fake anyway since there are so many replicas. The thing is with replicas is that, some are actually made with REAL genuine leather, and placement and everything is right just that its not actually manufactured by the real company itself. But oh well everyone has a different preference with their bags, some don’t mind its fake as long as it looks like the real thing=)
Ps. my birthday is coming up too in oct *high 10*
August 16th, 2007 at 9:51 pm
Carol,
Tokidoki Blog wont be here for a while. But I can tell you that the item see on Yahoo Auctions in Singapore looks real but to be on the safe side ask the seller for more close up pics like the inside (Which is suppose to be green) and the zipper on the inside (which has to say “riri”). And the print cannot say “Flowers Spring” it must say “Tokidoki for Lesportsac”.
Hope it helps.
August 19th, 2007 at 6:37 pm
Thank you soooo much for posting this up! I have a question. I recently bought a buon viaggio, i think its from the winter collection above. Its notte outside and citta print inside from Macys. But its 2007 right now! Why would Macy’s have an old season bag? I also saw the blaco and adios star bag! Also, Is it true that Tokidoki might be discontinued from Macy’s?
August 20th, 2007 at 12:12 am
I have never seen a Corriere (sp?) bag in person. How is this bag carried..shoulder? waist? The shape looks so different to me. I just can’t figure it out by looking at the photo. Thanks for the help!
August 21st, 2007 at 9:51 am
Hello Tokidoki Blog,
I’ve just bought a Stellina in Notte (inside Citta Print) and it comes with the new Adios Toy. Do you think this is the first re-release of the old prints? cos’ the original would have come with the Tokidoki Qee right?
It would be great if they release the playground print again .. I’ve been longing to get one ..
August 21st, 2007 at 8:40 pm
Sharon - I have never tried a Corriere on so I can’t answer for sure, but I’d guess that it sits at the hip.
Grin - no, your bag is definitely not a re-release of old prints. It’s not even definite the re-releases will be happening yet, but if they do, it won’t be until next year. The solid color bags keep getting recycled with new seasons of tokidoki bags, so it’s normal for them to be around for multiple seasons.
August 22nd, 2007 at 7:25 pm
Thank you so much for this guide! It’s enormously helpful.
August 26th, 2007 at 7:44 am
Hi, this is so helpful!
I cant wait till you post up the 2007 summer collection and the rest of the spring collection. I want to check my spiaggia buon viaggio and tutti dolce to make sure they are the real thing, and also to see if there is a pirata design in zucca, if not I will go for a paradiso or citta anyways.
Thanks again!
August 27th, 2007 at 7:53 pm
Yay!!
I love this archive!! Hope you add the rest of the collections soon, we know it’s a lot of work. Thanks again!!
August 27th, 2007 at 7:55 pm
Laura - The Zucca DOES come in the Pirata Print. The incredibly tough decision is picking between the three!! =)
August 27th, 2007 at 8:00 pm
It would be great to add the MSRP to the bag styles in the archive. For those of us shopping on eBay it would be a really big help, especially for the older retired bag styles that we cannot look up on LeSportsac.com.
Just my two cents. Thanks!!
August 29th, 2007 at 5:44 pm
link to ebay auction
that link showed a picture and the qee is attached to a keychain….
i almost purchased it as well!
August 29th, 2007 at 5:45 pm
and that was style2034
August 29th, 2007 at 5:46 pm
also, the other one i wanted to buy…
ninja_rusty
August 30th, 2007 at 2:25 pm
what’s wrong with those, kayla? they’re both the amore/l’amore print which has a pink inside.. the qee should always be on a keychain.
September 3rd, 2007 at 12:05 pm
Lydia - you’re welcome!
tokimagic - very good idea about adding prices to this archive - I will try to add them this week.
September 8th, 2007 at 9:39 pm
Hi! I just discovered Tokidoki bags, and this is an awesome site. I checked out all the photos and bag styles before ordering my first one from the outlet in WA state.
But I think I just did something really stupd. You know that chain that comes with the bag - the one the little black booklet is attached to? Was I supposed to keep that and wear it on the bag? I tossed it out.
September 9th, 2007 at 10:15 am
Yay!! Thanks tokidoki blog!!
September 11th, 2007 at 7:46 pm
Oops…Girlstar…I keep the chain on my bags and wallet. I just like the way it looks. And I hand the qee on my bags as well…cause I like them..so cute.
September 12th, 2007 at 3:21 pm
Hi! I also just discover Tokidoki bags this summer, but i didnt by one yet….i would like to have the Campeggio style bag. is there any way to tell the reals from the fakes? (on ebay, of course) or do i have to just go by the list of user names in the blog?
also does different color/style come out each season? so the tutti and the trasporto is for fall 2007, rite?
will it be a long time before the winter versions come out?
can i find most of the older versions on eBay? or is there other places too?
well…as u can see i am a tokidoki neebie!

Ok I’m going to make this sweet and short, so last night I was browsing around for some rare tokidoki bella bella bags. I found a seller who sells then, awesome. I msg her kindly for some authentic pictures of the bag, and thats when she/he gets all defenceless about herself. And this is a seller listed on the REAL tokidoki sellers list by the way, which I find very ironic now after coming into a very unpleasant conversation with her and her listed item. So after kindly asking her for some authentic pictures and some sides of the bad she yells back at me saying her pictures already shows sides of the bag when CLEARLY its a weird angle of the top. My response was telling her that and her response comes to this:
“you have zero feedback, you want to kill me on the price, you want me to prove its authenticity when i have excellent feedback and have been selling them for almost two years now then you expect me to be an expert cameraman too and give you a ton of photos at every angle should i just stand on top of my head and take them? Some of these other ebayers have very fancy cameras and tripods and stuff I dont! I am sure I know what you really want the bag for anyways !”
- theflossyflossy
Ps. she has never sent me one single picture at the end, she threatened to sue me if I wanted to post our conversation somewhere.
Is it so wrong for a 0 feedback buyer to ask for authentic pictures of the item BEFORE i buy it?
September 13th, 2007 at 3:36 am
PS. here is the url of the item
September 13th, 2007 at 3:40 am
Its honestly a really nice bag but just because she has 100% feedback doesn’t mean I should base my entire trust on it o_0
September 13th, 2007 at 2:45 pm
“FAKE SELLER?” –the list of sellers that sell the real thing does not account for anyone’s character. they could be huge a–holes, but if they sell the real thing, they’re listed.
September 13th, 2007 at 7:23 pm
Oh is it? Oh well.. I just thought she might be a fake because she kept avoiding the topic when I kept telling her if shes so confident about herself, why is she so afraid to show me some simple pictures. Oh well still a bad seller to me, don’t even know how to communicate. Sorry for the long story guys.
September 18th, 2007 at 5:55 pm
‘fake seller’ - i hv asked questions (very politely) regarding tokidoki bags from theflossyflossy, not a very nice person in replying email.
September 29th, 2007 at 9:25 pm
Oh, that seller is known by quite a lot of people for selling way over-priced Tokidoki items. Also I once heard that people have seen her bid on other Tokidoki items on ebay and then resells them at a higher price.
October 1st, 2007 at 5:02 pm
“Also I once heard that people have seen her bid on other Tokidoki items on ebay and then resells them at a higher price.”
yup, i can vouch for that!! ’tis sad, but true.
October 2nd, 2007 at 10:05 pm
Which Tokidoki handbag is your very favorite to carry? I love my Stellina Adios!
October 7th, 2007 at 1:36 pm
Hi! I’ve purchased two tokidoki bags in Macy’s in the past before, but now, I’m really considering buying one online because the bag that I want is not available in stores. I read all about how to spot the fake bags and it really worries me. Despite the list of real tokidoki sellers, I still worry because what if a real seller decided to slip in a fake one because they already built up a good reputation? Well, I just wanted some help on deciding which bag is real. I have a number of different bags from different sellers. So if someone could help me out, that would be great.
NWT LeSportsac TOKIDOKI Canguro Bag PARADISO
Lesportsac Tokidoki Luna Trasporto
Lesportsac Tokidoki Belt Bag Canguro L’Amore
TOKIDOKI LeSPORTSAC CANGURO LAMORE
the last two bags are the lamore print, but are from different sellers. i’m kind of nervous about the one from “beautifully*big*duds” because the current bid is not even $15! i know that the bid can go up extremely fast, but i find it very unusual. i also have the same concerns about the canguro paradiso waist bag from “phoenix_*wulabaha*” as well. this ebay user has no been listed on the fake or real tokidoki sellers list, so i’m unsure.
October 8th, 2007 at 4:25 pm
enjerla - the real sellers list isn’t going to list everyone who sells a toki bag on ebay: it’s people who sell them regularly, so you WILL find real bags from people that aren’t on there.
Why would a real seller ever sell a fake bag? that completely negates all their good feedback. Also, what about these bags make you think they’re fake or could be fake? compare them against the guide. pics of l’amore arent on here yet, but you seem to know what it looks like.
October 9th, 2007 at 6:25 pm
yeah, i guess you’re right. but the reason why i was a little suspicious was because they dont really show the pictures of the qee up close or anything, so i thought that there might be a reason behind that. i mean, when shopping online, you can never be too careful.
October 10th, 2007 at 3:18 pm
oh, definitely, enjerla. being careful beats being sorry any day.
October 14th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
thanks for the guide!
really helpful.
just so you know, metropark occasionally has some tutti print bags on sale,
i’ve seen the bella for $90 or so dollars.
but they don’t list it on the site.
does macy’s carry scuola print bags?
October 14th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
tutti scuola**
October 16th, 2007 at 1:36 am
Thank you for this site! Wonderful for reference
I’m looking high and low for Buon Viaggio in Original Print to no avail.. *sobs*
October 16th, 2007 at 1:47 am
Does anyone know what the color of the inside zipper of the original black print supposed to be ? Not the Notte but the black one with the OP print inside. Thanks!
October 17th, 2007 at 4:50 pm
oh, at first i read this as the zipper head, and was going to say black, which is for all things w/ op (black head, green pull), but inside pocked zipper on the black version is white & silver pull. green w/silver in OP
October 19th, 2007 at 5:48 pm
With regards to FakeSellers comments above, he is no longer a registered user on ebay and is being investigated by Ebay Trust and Safety in Canada, there was a whole lot more to our conversation than what was posted. There are always two sides to every story.
November 2nd, 2007 at 8:08 pm
Since you don’t really have pictures of the L’amore bambino is it ok if you could authenticate a bag for me? Can I get a e-mail address? I read someone’s post in here saying you are really good on authenticating bags and to just ask you. Thanks so much! You already know my address so let me know, thanks!!
November 2nd, 2007 at 8:39 pm
lorac - Have you seen the How to Avoid Fake tokidoki Bags on eBay Guide on this blog? It is my official knowledge transfer post for authenticating tokidoki.
November 5th, 2007 at 6:13 pm
YAY! you finally added the l’amore print! btw, that’s it’s official name right? some people refer to it as just “amore” :T
November 5th, 2007 at 6:20 pm
Yes, the official print name is L’Amore.
November 5th, 2007 at 6:27 pm
oh no! a fake bag >:o! the original print with the wrong background color (pink instead of white). and listed as citta rosa… how very wrong.
i just reported it to eBay…
ebay item number: 140175910503
November 5th, 2007 at 9:34 pm
admin, i thought so. thank you. but then why is Amore listed on the right o_O? i guess for people who think that’s the print’s name?
November 6th, 2007 at 2:25 am
Keep up the good work!
I would love to help but the bags I have you have already had archived or would have official pictures!
November 6th, 2007 at 1:08 pm
krisha - Amore is listed on the right because before the print was released, there was some confusion about what its official name was. I was originally also calling it the “Amore print” until the bags were released with the official name “L’Amore print.” I left the “Amore print” category up though because I figured that the confusion would carry over for some time afterwards.
tenbucks - thanks!
November 6th, 2007 at 3:57 pm
I just received an email from LeSportsac.com: The Vacanze print is now available online, & nothing is sold out yet.
November 29th, 2007 at 10:35 pm
HELP! Does anyone know how to clean these bags, I have two and mine are getting slightly soiled, mild detergent and water doesn’t work!
November 29th, 2007 at 11:04 pm

December 2nd, 2007 at 8:34 am
Hi - such a great Blog. I’m one of those sellers on ebay, who only sell authentic items, contrary to some bogus feedback! As a seller, you can’t please everyone all of the time. I’ve sold all but one of my personal tokidoki bags (the original black Campeggio). It is too high end for me, so I stick to the regular lesportsac bags - mostly old retired prints, or vintage bags. It drives me absolutely nuts, not the competition, but the amount of sellers on ebay who sell fakes, either lamb, lesportsac, remix, tokidoki, oc, anything from the lesportsac line. You can report them to ebay, but they just keep coming back! UGH! I’ve written a guide as well. As a side note, I’ve ordered for personal use, bags directly from lesportsac, and the tag inside does not say made in USA. Just an interesting tidbit. I’m going to keep this site bookmarked. It is wonderful.
December 3rd, 2007 at 7:46 pm
Hi, I had the ansewer to the comment above “tag does not say made in USA” All the regular Lesportsac bags use to be made in USA, but the company shut down most of the factories here in the United States that made the Lesportsac Classic Line. Now like the tokidoki’s, they are also made in China and sent to the United States Lesportsac Distribution Centers to be tagged and shipped on out to stores or sold online. They started shutting down the factories here about 2 years ago, well January 2008 will make 2 years that employee’s began to get laid off and then it shut completely down in September of same year. This is at least true for Stearns, Ky Lesportsac factory. The Sterans Distribution Center is still here but not the factory that actually made the bags. So if you see a Lesportsac bag that has a tag inside that say’s “Made in USA” it will most likely be an older style/print of at least a couple years old and the tags that don’t have that tag are or should be the newer ones Lesportsac has made lately. The tokidoki’s and Lamb bags have always been made in China and just shipped to Lesportsac Distribution Centers here in USA and then sent to stores, ect… Anyways I had information and thought I’d try to help out some. Thanks

I really like these bags. They are fashionnable and cute!
sooooo cool!!!!!!!

I think the inventor was so smart!!
December 19th, 2007 at 9:59 pm
Does anyone know if there is a metal chain attached to any part of the outside of the Luna bags? I can’t seem to see it on any of the photos listed in this blog or on the LeSportsac site.
December 20th, 2007 at 11:40 am
The Luna does include a decorative ball chain - it just happens to be hanging down the side of the bag that is facing away from the camera in all of the photos on this page.
December 25th, 2007 at 12:12 pm
wanting to buy a vacanze zucca bag from ebay .. wondering what to look out for to make sure its not fake. the real one i looked at online shows the eskimo and penguins on the front of the bag but the ones i see on ebay are on the side not in the center …. does it just mean it was a different cut of the print? any tips on what to look for when buying from ebay?
December 26th, 2007 at 1:12 pm
angie - Check out How to Avoid Fake tokidoki Bags on eBay. Also, no two tokidoki bags are alike - they all have unique print placement.
December 28th, 2007 at 4:14 am
Hi,
My addiction to Tokidoki started late, just a few months ago, and I’ve been trying to catch up ever since. I love your website, and refer to it constantly when looking for Tokidoki bags to buy! I drool over your collection. Anyway, I recently purchased a bag on Ebay, and I was hoping you could answer a question regarding authenticity for me, because I really don’t know who else to ask. The bag is an original print Ciao Ciao with Meomi qee. Everything looks authentic, but I thought all the hardware was green, but it’s alternating blue and green. The D-rings, rivets, ball chain and zipper pulls are green, then the O-rings and strap adjuster are blue. I looked again at your How to Avoid Fakes and this seems right, I just want to make sure. Also, I have another Ciao Ciao in Paradiso print, and all the hardware seems much heavier than the blue and green hardware on the original print bag. Is this normal? If it is a fake, it is the best fake I’ve ever seen (in my limited Tokidoki experience). Thanks for your time, and again I LOVE YOUR BLOG!
December 28th, 2007 at 10:54 am
Hi Jules - Thanks! Item #5 of my How to Avoid Fake tokidoki Bags on eBay guide actually states “First season bags had green hardware (plus blue hardware rings attached to the strap)” so you’re good. Currently there is no such thing as convincing fakes - they are all very obviously fake. I’m sure your Paradiso Ciao Ciao is good too.
January 12th, 2008 at 9:51 pm
this is my first toki doki bag and I love it!!!!!!
January 14th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
Great Job Steph!
btw, is it Caramellina or Carmellina? =) I’ve been using both.
January 14th, 2008 at 2:36 pm
Looks like I have a typo - the correct spelling is Caramellina. I will edit accordingly!
January 22nd, 2008 at 8:40 pm
hey Stephanie, did you forget to put an OP porta? They DO have OP portas for 2nd gen right?
January 22nd, 2008 at 8:48 pm
Yes, there were second generation OP portas. The OP section that I have up so far is for the original Spring 2006 releases only though - I haven’t decided how I am going to handle the re-releases yet.
January 22nd, 2008 at 8:51 pm
ahhhhhh! I see, okie dokie then
And also:
Thank you so much for putting up this blog site and keeping us updated on everything tokidoki. Thanks to you, I’ve got a small collection of my own and I definitely know how to spot fakes and stay away from them. I really appreciate all the work you’ve done for all of us tokidoki addicts. So, again, Thank you so much and keep up the good work
January 22nd, 2008 at 8:57 pm
Awww - thanks to you too, and you’re welcome!
February 7th, 2008 at 7:28 pm
OK, I’m not making fakes, but i want to get the rainbow metal zipper for some quilting projets. Does anyone know where i can get some? Thanks. vicki
February 8th, 2008 at 10:38 pm
GOOGLE “RIRI”
on the riri website there is a section leading you to a store that carries them in your state or region. considering that its metal and high quality i found the prices to be affordable.
these zippers DO NOT come with the round tokidoki zipper pull. hope this helps
February 16th, 2008 at 9:13 am
are tokidoki insides ever white? or would that make it fake?
February 18th, 2008 at 8:16 am
AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!ADDD MORE MORE MORE!!!!!I NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS ROX!!!U ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!
February 19th, 2008 at 10:35 am
karin - If the inside color of the bag doesn’t match the colors I have listed in this guide, the bag is fake. There are no white interiors on real tokidoki bags.

thanks so much for all the research!!!:)
February 28th, 2008 at 2:07 am
hi, could anybody tell me if tokidoki has a butterfly print or something like that??, my sister and i almost bought a campeggio bag with that print on it, but we dont think the print is from tokidoki because we have never seen it before. they also have a flower print and all the bags have your brand, and the tag says” tokidoki`s lesportsac limited edition”.
we know its fake, because we read your tutorial. but we want to know if tokidoki really works with that print (it has butterflies and little hearts)because we love it and we would buy original ones.
thanks =)
February 28th, 2008 at 10:49 am
abril - You don’t see a butterfly or flower prints on this page because tokidoki bags in those prints don’t exist.
February 28th, 2008 at 6:26 pm
This is awesome. I would say a work of art.
As the Australian distributor for tokidoki, it is wonderful
to have a site to refer any tokidoki bag enquiries to.
Keep up the great job!
February 28th, 2008 at 6:32 pm
Thank you, Jenni!
That really means a lot to me.
March 2nd, 2008 at 8:54 pm
i am on a MAD HUNT for a buon viaggo in the inferno print! does anyone know where i might be able to find one? i’ve already checked e-bay but i only see mamma mia’s! thanks!
March 2nd, 2008 at 10:55 pm
Hi,
I bidded on a tokidoki bag and I’m hestitated to pay due to come upon this site. I heard horrible stories. I really need help! Does anyone know about ebay seller chloe0826? Please, can someone tell me it is a real or fake tokidoki bag? Do you think this bag worth it of the price? It’s really help me out since i don’t want to be a victim of having a fake tokidoki bag. I don’t want to lose my money on it. Thanks!

March 2nd, 2008 at 11:26 pm
Liza - Keep checking eBay, an Inferno Buon Viaggio will pop up sooner or later.
Sue - I answered you in the Guide to Fakes post.
March 4th, 2008 at 2:17 am
I wish your prices listed actually reflected what the LeSportsac store at the Ala Moana store sells there remaining tokidoki bags for. they are selling the denero wallet with the citta interior in black for about 100 dollars and a Spiaggia Belle for 230 it makes me want to cry I want the spiaggia soo much. It has great pattern placement but 230 dollars is insane.
March 10th, 2008 at 8:17 pm
suzieD -really??? i was just at ala moana and the denaro’s are $83 and the bella is only $157? tax is 4.7% tax, so denaro is about $86 and bella is $165. maybe you need to check again.
March 14th, 2008 at 12:15 am

March 20th, 2008 at 3:44 pm

March 20th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
that’s real, lacey! that’s a legit seller. and nope, you don’t need special permission to get a tokidoki tattoo.:)
March 20th, 2008 at 6:08 pm

March 26th, 2008 at 8:45 am
umm, Julie… they do! it’s called “scuola” as in School, comes in many prints - how could you miss it?
March 31st, 2008 at 9:56 pm
OK….I’m very confussed. I have purchased a “Avventura Notte” from Macys. Original price was $210. WHy isn’t this bag listed? Or is it under a different name?
March 31st, 2008 at 11:41 pm
Allllrighty…can someone PLEASE give me a list of places that have bags in the stores? like nordstrom and stuff…they have them online….but not on location…
April 1st, 2008 at 11:16 am
Susan - This page isn’t quite finished yet.
Lacey - The tokidoki for LeSportsac collaboration ended in October 2007. The bags are pretty much all sold out in stores at this point.
April 1st, 2008 at 9:23 pm
ahh okay…welll…i just happen to be checking ebay again and found this little gem! Im almost positive it is real but just making sure!

April 8th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
I can’t choose!
I’ve got a Dolce and Gioco but now i want a bag with a longer strap so i can wear it across my shoulders.
So i’ve been looking at STELLINA, BAMBINONE and CIAO CIAO but i can’t decided which to get!
Any suggestions anyone!
thanks
Kx
April 8th, 2008 at 4:43 pm
Yay, thank you!
I now can prove to my “so called copy cat friend”, that her “tokidoki” bag is fake.
She recently got the spring 2006 backpack, and it looks NOTHING like the real one.

No qee, no “tokidoki for lesportsac” writing on it, no colourful zip, and no lesportsac strap.
Fake much?
April 8th, 2008 at 5:29 pm
Keely, As an Ebay Seller. i suggest GET ALL THREE, Cause they are different style.. ^___^.
but as a TOki-Fan i can tell you.. i personally find Stellina the best..
altho the size is a lot smaller than the Ciao Ciao, but as for its *inside dimension* you can put more stuff in there and yet the bag does not look *bulky* at all.
Ciao Ciao - You can put bigger things in there but the space is limited because its a flat message bag.
Useful enough ??
April 9th, 2008 at 5:45 am
Hey
thanks!
i’m sure this won’t be the last toki bag i buy so for now i will probably get the ciao ciao or stellina- the baminone will probably be too small ..until i decide i want a smaller bag! =D
Kx
April 10th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love this site and now I feel more confident about buying on Ebay, IF I buy from there.
what about special edition prints? I bought my mom a bag, while I was in Hawaii May 2007. I was told by the guy that the print was special made for Hawaii (it was at a Le Sport Sac store, so I don’t think it’s fake). I didn’t see it here. I was just wondering if there are many special prints…that aren’t listed.
K
April 10th, 2008 at 4:18 pm
I just realized. I think it was a lesportsac print, not a tokidoki one. LOL. Nevermind.
April 16th, 2008 at 1:07 pm
Hi, I wanted to say thank you for this wonderfully informative site! It’s been really helpful. I just purchased an Inferno Ciao Ciao from ebay. I decided a little late in the game that I could not live without this bag. I just want to confirm that with this print the bag strap and trim are brown and the zipper trim is black(not the zipper itself). All the other details look perfect but I couldn’t definitively tell from the bag archive. Can anyone help? Thanks!
April 25th, 2008 at 10:28 pm
is the scuola [foresta print] any cheaper?? XD
and where can i find it.
May 8th, 2008 at 1:44 pm
hey
i have a Inferno Canguro, anyone want to swap me for a different style canguro?
Because i already have a Ciao Ciao in the Inferno print, i’d like to have different styles but i bought them on a whim before realising!
May 9th, 2008 at 9:10 am
Can anyone give me a genuin web site where i can buy REAL Tokie dokie bags? i dont know much about them but dont want to buy a fake
thanks
May 9th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
xxdaisyxx - most online stores have sold out of the lesportsac bags (nordstrom still has a vacanze canguro) especially because the re-releases were limited to just lesportsac boutiques in hawaii.
http://www.tokidoki-blog.com/category/real-tokidoki-sellers/
all of these ebay sellers are known to sell only authentic tokidoki.
if you have a livejournal account, you should join the shoptokidoki community. there are tons of people who put up their stuff for sale everyday and we’re all (authentic) tokidoki fanatics there.
May 9th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
Yeah I’m a bit bitter about shoptokidoki. They keep rejecting me and not letting me join the community. I don’t know what I did wrong in the sign up process.
May 9th, 2008 at 5:01 pm
i think the livejournal thing sucks. and someone did scam some people on there not so long ago. there are other places where people sell their toki stuff if you search, though.
May 11th, 2008 at 5:09 pm
Yay! I just bought my first tokidoki bag! It’s a l’amore bambino! And I’m just about to buy my second, a l’amore denaro, to go with it! I’m sooooo excited! I’ve been waiting ages to get one, but I haven’t been able to make up my mind!
May 18th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
I just bought a fall06 buon viaggio today ^^ my first tokidoki bag, i’ve been collecting the figurines because they’re more affordable for me on a regular basis xD
but i didn’t get the first quee i got the Adios keychains, although it cost wayyy more in the UK it’s like the just switched the $ to a £ sign without conversion, so i’m paying much more like £146 for my Buon Viaggio. ^^”
May 18th, 2008 at 2:39 pm
also i REALLLLY want to buy an inferno bag print tho~~ anyone know where they still sell them? even in the US?
May 18th, 2008 at 5:30 pm
Hi Tokidokiblog,
thanks a lot for all your information, tips and comments. I love your blog and it´s one of my favorites. I´m looking for the scuola backpack in black. Do you know about a site where I can buy it? Is it by the way available any longer, cause I´ve just found the fumo one. I need information about a seller that sends items worldwide, because I live in Chile (Southamerica). Thank you!
May 19th, 2008 at 6:53 pm
OMG!!! My l’amore bambino and denaro arrived today, they’re both gorgeous! I got them from ebay seller theflossyflossy, what an amazing seller, I would definately recommend, as she shipped them to the UK for me!
May 23rd, 2008 at 6:25 pm
i started with a l’amore bambinone…now i have 4 bags and 1 on the way lol i cant stop! my white whale is a Arancia Braccialetto. anyone have one to sell me? perchance to dream……..
May 24th, 2008 at 7:58 am
Hi, I need to understand something to finally get one, In the section How to avoid a fake, it says the adios key chain comes with the fall and winter 2006, but here I saw the kee with that bags. So it also cames with the key chan? Thnaks, amazing info.
May 24th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
Claudia - My only suggestion is eBay. The tokidoki for LeSportsac bag collaboration ended in October 2007 and are not available in stores any more.
Valeria - I think you misread 2007 as 2006.
May 25th, 2008 at 10:51 pm
holy crap…a playground campeggio just sold for 1838 bucks….. lss needs to watch ebay…..im still in shock lol it was good print placement tho lol
May 26th, 2008 at 4:27 pm
katie, i totally thought you were exaggerating.
holy crap.
May 26th, 2008 at 9:34 pm
Katie & Alli,
I know which Ebay item you guys are talking about….my GF emailed me that link this and I almost spit my mocha Frapp out when I saw how much that tan playground campeggio went for. Here’s the link if you need a shock to the system.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2802 29539006&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=018
Item number is: 280229539006
Is this kind of prices normal, do these people need professional help, or should I invest in Toki’s for my retirement fund?
Oh, and Stephanie….keep up the great work on this site! I try to convert as many gal pals into Toki addicts and refer them all to this site. Tis my Toki Bible.
May 27th, 2008 at 4:25 am
mmmm….
Really the buyer will pay such amount???
I doubt much….
but why the bid hystory ended in May-24-08 01:09:42 PDT??
when the begore bid were in May-25-08 13:48:23 PDT???
May 27th, 2008 at 12:42 pm
yeah something isnt right there…..the seller has zero feedback, that makes me wonder.
May 27th, 2008 at 6:48 pm
I have to ask. Do all of you use your bags and if/when you do, are you paranoid? Or are you just collectors? I am slowly working up to using them but I am scared to even though I scotch guarded them
Help me get over my fear please!!
May 27th, 2008 at 6:57 pm
I use mine daily. I even put my Trenino in the overhead luggage compartment on plane trips and it still looks brand new.
May 27th, 2008 at 7:28 pm
nearly $2000 for a Tan PG?! WTF. Someone was obviously desperate to get that bag. I find that suspicious though. The seller has no feedback…. I smell a quick scam.
Time to get my Ace Attorney on! *goes to investigate*
May 27th, 2008 at 9:21 pm
jay- what’s the point if you don’t use them? collecting is just having lots of junk & wasting money, if you ask me.
May 28th, 2008 at 1:29 am
Yeah, you guys are right. I just have to shake it off and use them!
:) Thanks!
May 28th, 2008 at 2:20 pm
so im trying to find my bag on the net but i havent been able to…. its tokidoki for lesportsac…. it has the summer ‘07 print but the inside is white and waterproff and has lesportsac in pink printed in various places ….. i cant find it anywhere online …..
May 28th, 2008 at 2:26 pm
i just need a lil help!!!!! lol my boyfriend purchased it for me in washington and i dont kno where ….
May 28th, 2008 at 4:03 pm
fee - Unfortunately, the bag you are describing sounds like one of the fakes.
May 29th, 2008 at 12:51 am
Jay, I say enjoy ur Toki’s to the fullest! Tho it makes me happy just looking at the prints, I agree with Ali…it would be a waste if you just let them collect dust. I don’t fabric protect them but I am very careful when I use them & I never take em out when it’s raining outside (which happens often here in Vancouver) I don’t allow the bottoms of my bags to rub on the carpet when I put them down or let them rub against the exterior of the car when i get in/out of my vehicle. Wouldn’t say I was uptight with my treasures, but I almost burst an artery when I showed my new Vacanze Cucciolo to a co-worker and she was sliding/rubbing my bag all over her desktop whilst examining it. I let her live, but future looksies by her will be from afar. :p
May 29th, 2008 at 2:07 am
Sugar–So funny! I can so relate! When I use them I’m like ‘Stay AWAY from the bag!’
:) Thanks for your input
May 29th, 2008 at 10:08 am

May 29th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
Yes, CEREZA, it’s real.
June 1st, 2008 at 6:35 pm
Yay, just bought my third tokidoki, a paradiso bambino, and an absolute bargain too! I think I have an obsession with bambino’s, I had a shock when my first one arrived and it was soooo small (which I knew but was still shocked!) but I don’t tend to carry much around with me and don’t like huge bags so I’m fine with it, but I’d like to get a bambinone just for those days when I need to though, anyone else love bambino’s?

June 8th, 2008 at 3:52 pm
Folks, this is not a for sale page - it is a reference.
June 13th, 2008 at 2:39 am
First of all thanks! I am so glad that I found your site!
Secondly, I found a bag for sale from the L’Amore collection, but I cannot figure out which style it is. Do you have all of the styles pictured here, because then I will assume it is a fake…and thanks again of course!
June 13th, 2008 at 4:04 am
Wondering everyone’s opinion….which besides the Trenino would be good to carry a standard laptop in? The Ciao Ciao, Campeggio or the Cucciolo? I’m trying to find the best one in a print I like….
June 13th, 2008 at 10:00 am
emmie - You’re welcome, and yes, all styles are pictured here.
Susan - Definitely the Cucciolo.
June 17th, 2008 at 9:20 am
Hello and thank you for this site.
I know that it’s just a list of all tokidoki bags but I would like to know where I could buy one of them. I’m french and i visited the official tokidoki site, there are bags in the shop but none of this list. Are they still available ? Are tokidoki’s products sale in current shops ? In other words, where I can find those bags for sale ?
Thanks & Best regards.
June 17th, 2008 at 10:39 am
Smallbell - These bags were only sold in the USA. There is a different line of tokidoki bags available to European customers. LeSportsac stopped making the bags on this page in October 2007, and they are all sold out in stores. The main place to find them now is on ebay.
June 21st, 2008 at 4:07 pm
This archive is awesome. I was just wondering does anyone still make Tokidoki Scuola Citta Rosa bags? They have an amazingly cute print, but I’ve heard that they’re no longer made? If not can somebody please help me find the link to an ebay or amazon seller? Thanks a BUNCH
June 24th, 2008 at 12:37 pm
iam a guy but i like the prints
eg inferno print /bags / belt bags / its that arm wallet
canguro, scula , stellina small black
June 26th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
Do you know why LeSportsac is no longer carrying the Tokidoki line? Wasn’t it profitable enough for them? Just curious.
June 26th, 2008 at 9:42 pm
Linda - It was a limited edition collaboration that after a year and a half simply came to its contracted end.
June 27th, 2008 at 11:46 pm
does anyone know if the bella bella came out in the notte with citta lining, or was it just the bella that came out. I thought I had a bella bella but I don’t see it listed here…just the bella. Sorry, it must sound quite confusing with all the “bella talk”….
July 2nd, 2008 at 10:15 pm
this guide is perfect
i’ve been looking for a real bag and I found a cute one but it wasn’t a bag style that i’ve seen before so i wasn’t sure if it was fake
turns out it was thanX!
July 3rd, 2008 at 12:51 pm
wow… i was being lazy and try to look for a pic of notte trenino online… and what surprise me is i cant fine it anywhere except here… Ha i guess i have to dig the bag out and take picture myself….
July 5th, 2008 at 8:20 am
For a girl who’s buying her first Tokidoki(a shoulder bag would be most practical), would you recommend Stellina, Campeggio, or Andiamo?
July 7th, 2008 at 4:05 pm
Love the pics thnx. just wanted to point out that the way you spelled GUAM is in correct.
July 10th, 2008 at 2:29 pm
Hi there! I’m still new to tokidoki for Lesportsac, hope you guys can help me. Recently I’ve gotten myself a Citta Rosa print 9526 - Gioco and a tokidoki Notte print with Citta print inside 9507 - Ciao. Is it true that both comes with a Adios keychain?
July 10th, 2008 at 3:08 pm
Evel - Both Citta and Notte Print does not comes with Adios qee.. it comes with the white bear qee.. but that does mean its fake.. possible the *owner* just substitute it.
for how to spot a fake, link refer as below:
http://www.tokidoki-blog.com/2007/02/05/how-to-avoid-fake-to kidoki-bags-on-ebay/
ex: if the main zipper comes with the *RIRI* underneath, its real.
better yet if you still cant tell.. provide pictures. so people can tell you if its real or not..
July 11th, 2008 at 2:15 am
yay! almost the entire collection is up! =]
July 11th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
Tofufar: But I bought it from DFS Gallaria Bali (http://www.dfsgalleria.com/galleria/shoppingcart/)
How could it be fake?
July 11th, 2008 at 2:20 pm
Evel - probably i misunderstood you. because you ask is it true that it comes with adios qee. so i thought you might be thinking it could be fake..
July 11th, 2008 at 4:21 pm
Evel – Citta Rosa DOES come with the Adios Qee…the re-release in all DFS stores all came with Adios Qees – and that includes the solid colors (Notte, Fumo and Bianco).
July 11th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
estamos interesados en comercializar sus productos en venezuela. gracias

This is BRILLIANT!!! Well done! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
July 14th, 2008 at 9:01 am
I am looking for the bag called buon viaggio citta rosa.
basically white background with lady with pink hair.
Can’t find anywhere or seem to locate anyone with this bag. Please call 847-903-8642 or respond to this email asap.
Thank you so much,
Carol Ann
July 16th, 2008 at 1:11 am
Did the original print ciao ciao only come with the blue qee or it had the white one also? Also, was it different from the other tokidoki as far as authenticity? If it has the “riri” it should be authentic, right? Thanks!
July 16th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
jay - original print ciao ciao came with meomi (blue) qee. has same “riri” stamp, yes.
carol betlinski - have you tried ebay?
July 17th, 2008 at 1:22 am
Thanks Alli!
July 17th, 2008 at 9:31 pm
I’ve gotten myself a Bella 9520 has Citta print inside and Fumo print outside, but it comes with a Adios qee in stead of the white bear qee, could it be fake?
I brought it in Duty Free..
July 18th, 2008 at 10:30 pm
Tina - Yup, Fumo (w/ Citta inside) was released with the Adios qee. As long as it’s got the “riri” stamp underneath the zipper head of the rainbow zippers, it’s real.
July 23rd, 2008 at 1:28 am
Hi there - thanks for the guide. Will there be no more tokidoki for 2008?
July 23rd, 2008 at 5:34 pm
charlie — http://www.tokidoki-blog.com/category/2008-tokidoki-bags/ check that out
they’re new & different from the lesportsac ones.
July 26th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
Thanks a lot Alli, my friend got the same one as mine ( Fumo w/ Citta inside) but I got Adios and she got the white bear qee, she got earlier then me though, is it true that Toy2R is no longer making qees for tokidoki for LeSportsac so they stop making the white bear qee and use the Adios in stead? Why we have the same bad but different qee?
July 27th, 2008 at 2:29 pm
Does anyone know if the Tutti print comes in the Avventura style? Thanks!
July 29th, 2008 at 6:05 pm
yup, that’s true, tina.

yup, it does, sugar.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:47 pm
Thanks Allli!
July 30th, 2008 at 9:22 pm
Hey, I noticed you did not have the Vacanze print up.
Which is okay, I was just wondering what the inside colour on it is supposed to be and what colour the hardware should be?
I’m about to buy one of the Campeggio bags in this print off ebay, and I want to be sure of what I’m buying. ;]

Thanks alli. To anyone.. I keep seeing bambione vs. bambino - is this just a typo or is there a difference? Thanks!
August 4th, 2008 at 5:39 pm
charlie - bambinone are different from bambino, yes. and are shown on this page, actually.
different sizes, and bambinone has a long strap.
August 8th, 2008 at 11:11 pm
hi. great resource. could we talk about how to verify these new carnival bags. i saw federica’s pics. have you guys seen any fakes on ebay yet?
August 10th, 2008 at 5:35 pm
I found a copy of a tokidoki spring 2006 bag collection, it’s entirely a fake but with the extra same patern the only difference is that the background is black and the zipper is a cheap immitation of the rainbow’s tokidoki zipper. The thing I don’t get is why isn’t even written tokidoki on the bag, like the other fakes?! Bought it for 20$ at this girly accesories store.
August 10th, 2008 at 5:36 pm
I forgot to mention the name of the store is called Ardène
August 10th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
yes, my sister has quite reason . I said that this is plaggia, by what is Ardène who deserve all the works when Simone Legno A Who Done everything design on all these bag!
August 10th, 2008 at 5:54 pm

Has anyone ordered any of the old tokidoki bags from Hawaii or Guam? They will only accept money order. Which is obviously the same as cash and I am making a big order so just wanted to see if anyone has had a good expierence with this.
August 13th, 2008 at 11:00 am
Yes, Allie.. I order at least 4 times from Hawaii..

August 21st, 2008 at 6:16 am
WOW!! this is awesome!! TOKIDOKI for dummies… (me). This is an awesome resource. I’m a new fan and wanted to get a bag. Just bid and won on ebay and crossing my fingers I didn’t get scammed. Wish i found this site before hand. : ) Wish me luck.

August 27th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
thank you alli ^-^
September 2nd, 2008 at 2:27 am
This site is AWESOME!! I finally decided to get a Vacanze bag (I love the Adios qee). This is my third toki doki bag (I have the Amore Dolce, and Adios Luna). I decided to get the Zucca so I can fit all my stuff in. Your tips on spotting fakes REALLY helped!
I actually won this one on ebay from a really nice seller. I live halfway across the globe, so I thought I’d have to wait at least a week and a half for the bag, but it came in six days! Whoo hoo!
Are there plans to put up the pix for the Vacanze range of bags here? I must say, having seen the entire range here, the Vacanze is my absolute favourite!
Thanks tokidoki blog!
September 3rd, 2008 at 8:55 pm
ok, in Hong Kong i was looking for toki doki bags every and i finally find them but it was like in this street where u can buy alot of things there, and i saw this tent with TONS of tokidoki bags and other lesports bag. without looking at the tag i just picked one and bought it(since i’m leaving in 1 day) and a backpack. the backpack costed 60 dollars Hk and the other bag costed 50. when i got home i found out that it says Prosports, so i did not undertsand it. so do u know if it is a fake or a real? if it is fake, do you know where i can get a real one in either Hong Kong or Vancouver(or richmond). If u can, i would like to know the vancouver one . thank you.
September 3rd, 2008 at 9:08 pm
in the picture comparisons for qees, was the teddy bear-white with flower on face and star, need to have the star and the spikes beside the star on the ear?
September 3rd, 2008 at 9:12 pm
Candy - no authentic Tokidoki Bag says “prosports” on it…so I’m pretty sure that what you bought is a fake
SORRY.
September 3rd, 2008 at 9:15 pm
um for the guide to the fakes. does’nt all real bags have to have Lesportsac written on it instead of the other stuff(srry i asked u that question about my bag but now i got the answer, but please answer me for the destination of lesports real (besides hawii)like Prosports or Letsports or lesports(with no sac)? y is the bags in the guide(fake) have the real name but its is said by u that it is fake?
September 3rd, 2008 at 9:40 pm
“Lesportsac” is on bag. Things like prosports, letsports or lesports or flower spring are dead give aways that the bag is fake. I live in Hawaii so basically the only place I would suggest other than in Hawaii is probably ebay.
September 5th, 2008 at 11:31 am
Hi, Great guide! Just one question. I have a chance to buy an original print Luna bag, but it comes with the white bear quee instead of the blue cat. Everything else looks very legit. Could this possably be a fake? Or did a white bear quee come on the Luna at some point?
September 6th, 2008 at 12:44 am
i saw that one too i think lissifur
the one on ebay with the silver hardware? i did not want to buy it only because i like them better with green
i think if you read back somewhere in here, it may have been a rerelease of that print, which came with the newer qee and silver instead of green?
i just wanted to ask to anyone who has denaro’s, are they big enough to use as a wallet? the inside of them looks really small in pictures i have seen of them opened up
September 6th, 2008 at 12:45 am
*just to clarify i did not think it was fake, just that it was not from the first season of that print or whatever
September 6th, 2008 at 1:04 am
neon_demure…
as for denaro.. if you dont have much to carry.. its a pretty good size..
ex: one Driver license. not more than 4 Credit card.. and some small small change….
September 6th, 2008 at 3:19 am
thanks : )
there are none in the print i want on ebay right now anyway, so i will have to wait
September 7th, 2008 at 1:17 am
que va mi gente en maracaibo ya tienen la imitacon y mas costosa que la propia original si no lo creen pues busquen en lolita cc sambil
September 8th, 2008 at 12:44 pm
Thanks for all the info! Other than Ebay, does anyone know of another good place to buy Tokidoki? I’m looking for the larger ciao ciao bag in the Foresta print….but I cant seem to find it anywhere
September 8th, 2008 at 12:48 pm
Oh, I was also looking into the Braccialetto…just for times when I dont feel like using a purse. Does anyone know if that would be too small? I’ve never seen one in person.
September 10th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
did the first print ever get made into a Cucciolo?
September 14th, 2008 at 12:31 pm
lissifur - The Braccialetto is a bracelet that is good to use as a coin purse but you can’t fit too much else in there.
cx420ns - No, it didn’t.
September 15th, 2008 at 12:47 am
Since your Tutti list is incomplete, can you please respond soon before I make a purchase online in a few hours. Did they make a Luna bag with the tutti print? The print and other things look authentic. Please help!
September 16th, 2008 at 10:22 am
then i must get a refund =x =x =x i didn’t look close enough and it looked like a different print….
thanks a bunch =)
September 16th, 2008 at 11:11 am
Sillysquirt - Yes.
cx420ns - You’re welcome!
September 16th, 2008 at 2:34 pm
Has anyone ever bought anything from ebayer Natav02? I was interested in one of their Tokidoki bags, but it doesnt have a qee attached.
September 17th, 2008 at 3:51 am
the tokidoki concept store down the road from my house has a catalogue and there is a new print in there called discoteka (probably spelled that wrong lol) it is so cool
September 18th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
I just bought my 2nd TOKI bag…….in Ecomondo…….its soooooo CUTE! It even has WIND TURBINES on it!! WOW! The ladies at Satchel in Richmond Centre Mall even let me choose between 6 bags to find the MOST PERFECT ONE for me!!!
September 22nd, 2008 at 6:31 am
sorry if this has already been asked, but does citta rosa print with an adios keychain exist? (maybe as a rerelease or something?) i saw a bag which looked real aside from this
September 22nd, 2008 at 6:33 am
oh, disregard the above sorry i figured it out lol
September 24th, 2008 at 8:10 am
I’m from Canada more precisly from Québec, Is there a way to buy tokidoki bags online directly from a tokidoki concept store ? On Ebay there putting the bags up for alot more than what there worth according to this guide. I’m looking for 2 inferno print bags (christnas presents, I know its early but I rather be earlier than late) a bambinone and a Corriere.
September 24th, 2008 at 10:25 am
Alexandra - tokidoki for LeSportsac bags sold out a long time ago (and have therefore increased in value), so the only place left to buy them is eBay.
September 24th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
Ah I see
thanks for information
September 30th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
Awesome!
Thanks!
I have:
L’Amore Stellina
Famiglia Scuola
Trasporto Ciao Ciao
I really love the other designs too!
October 5th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
Is There any other place to buy these that aren’t on eBay? also besides the actual tokidoki website because they don’t hold all the designs here.
October 6th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
amanda - the older stuff that’s shown here is sold out a long time ago. ebay or a tokidoki forum with buying&selling are your only hope to get them. she will have the archive updated with all of them, eventually. this is a work in progress.
tokidoki.it is the official site for tokidoki, but it doesn’t have an archive.
October 8th, 2008 at 6:14 pm
is vacanze the only print with sabochan on it?
October 13th, 2008 at 11:30 am
(neon_demure) - Yes.
October 14th, 2008 at 1:34 am

GOSH!! These new TOKIs get CUTER & C U T E R!!!
I just got my THIRD bag…….in Concerto Punk!! My fave TOKI Characters jammin’ at a Rock Concert!! What next, eh?!! Gotta love it!!
October 23rd, 2008 at 6:14 pm
This site is the best I’ve ever seen
I’m going crazy over these bags! I know they’ve been out for a few years now, but when I saw the new tokidoki carnival (carezza) and eco mondo (sorriso) prints I just had to have them
Since then I’ve also purchased the concerto punk (graziosa), trasporto (gioco), spiaggia (buon viaggio), famiglia (ciao ciao), and l’amore (zucca).
Luckily, I live in Hawai’i and our Lesportsac here just did a re-issue of the famiglia, spiaggia, and the trasporto designs. They’re doing the last re-issue of the vacanze next month, so I may have to get one of those too. I fall in love with each new bag over and over again! I’m sure many of you can relate
October 23rd, 2008 at 7:06 pm
i really want to get a l’amore mammia mia bag, but there’s no reprints. is the only way to get one is by ebay?
because i don’t think i can afford that and i really don’t want to order anything online.
any suggestions?
~thanks!
October 23rd, 2008 at 9:29 pm
connieschen,
On ebay 73papasmurfsboutique has one at the buy-it-now price of $250. That’s quite high, but that’s the only way to get it since it is no longer in stores. I’ve had excellent experience buying from 73papasmurfs! She only sells authentic tokidoki without a doubt.
But be patient and you may come across the bag you’re looking for online. Just be cautious, the more pics the seller posts the better, and don’t be afraid to ask questions about the bag up for auction.
Good luck and I’ll let you know if I see anything at a lower price
October 23rd, 2008 at 10:50 pm
connieschen,
definately, be patient…. you can swoop that bag up for 150 ish if it’s an auction on ebay. set your ebay account to alert you when someone is selling. good luck to you!
October 24th, 2008 at 12:37 pm
connieschen,
In fact, if you look up tokidoki lamore (without the ‘) mamma mia I saw a few bags listed on ebay in the $150 price range, much more affordable than others. There was even one willing to consider a best offer price
Good luck!
November 2nd, 2008 at 6:03 pm
I love this! But why does it have to be so expensive! geez it’s like it’s meant to be a cheap bag for millionaires! i’d rather buy it on ebay! or maybe i will! if it gets any cheaper…tell me!
November 4th, 2008 at 6:49 am
Please, can you tell me where I can buy some tokidoki bags, bambino, dolce or mama.
but I didn’t want to sell them on site like Ebay!!
doesn’t matter the price
hope you will able to answer me
thx u so much
Fraiwan
Very Good blog, I love spending some moments on it^^
November 25th, 2008 at 8:34 pm
you can totally buy a real bag on line. www.tobi.com is having a sale this week; 30% off. I buy pretty much all of my bags there because I know that they are authentic and with the discount, the prices are awesome.
November 26th, 2008 at 1:03 am
Fraiwan,
Bambino, dolce and mama mia is the older TOkidoki bags by Lesportsac.. you can not find it anywhere else except ebay. just becareful when you pick ur seller. there’s a real and fake seller list in this blog under contact info. it gives u a better idea of who seller what + guide for fake bags..
everywhere else is selling the Newer TOkidoki line..
December 6th, 2008 at 6:48 pm
Hi, my niece is looking for the Tokidoki Vacanze Ciao. There are a few Ciao Ciaos on ebay and only a couple of them are Ciaos. If I send a link could you check to see if they are fake or real?
Item number: 120343207470 at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STR K:MEWAX:IT&item=120343207470
and Item number: 260317769208
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
December 9th, 2008 at 1:27 am
diamondflowers - Real.
December 18th, 2008 at 1:43 am
Does anyone know? The Canguro style - I’ve seen quite a few on Ebay but there’s some that have mesh pockets inside. Are these authentic? I don’t see them listed here so I”m wondering if they are fake? I know that the ones listed here don’t have the pockets because I have the styles listed here. I’d like the ones with the mesh pockets because that’s convenient but I don’t want fake ones!
December 18th, 2008 at 1:56 am
I think I can answer my own question upon closer inspection - I think they are fake. The name strip is plain (definite fake) and the leather snap to the mesh pocket in front is not tan like the authentic one, it’s green! ANd in the front, there’s a tag and it says “Tokidoki” where the real one doesn’t have any.
December 18th, 2008 at 8:53 am
lisa- Are you sure its a canguro?
From your description its sounds like its a “Magia” from the NEW LINE of tokidoki bags. The magia looks like a canguro on steroids- Its bigger than a canguro.
December 18th, 2008 at 1:33 pm
ambersdad.. hahaha i like your way to describe the Magia… canguro on steroids…. hhahaha….
yes its definitely a lot bigger and bulkier than the Canguro…
December 19th, 2008 at 3:47 pm
Hi everyone, I want to buy Tokidoki original print in Buon viaggio (Authentic). Used bag is fine as long as it has qee attached. I prefer that the bag is in great condition with no stain on the bag. I’m offering $300 through paypal if anyone interesting please let me know. my email is wisittasak@msn.com, please email me the picture of the bag.
December 20th, 2008 at 12:37 am
Amberstad - Hm….you got me thinking….Magia is what I’m looking at. I think the green leather strap is ugly. An authentic one with an ugly strap like that? Well, is really AUTHENTIC? I like the idea of the mesh pockets inside but I can’t get to liking the green leather strap on the front and on the sides! I don’t know if it’ll grow on me. And yes it does look like a Canguro on steroids!
December 20th, 2008 at 12:38 am
Oh - one more quick observation I had, if it’s really authentic, why is the inside tag different and why does it only say TOKIDOKI instead of the usual TOKIDOKI LE SPORTSAC like the others? Anyone?
December 20th, 2008 at 1:55 am
Lisa,
Tokidoki no longer collaborate with LeSportsac.. and yet.. their bags still made by LeSportsac.. thats the reason why it does not carry the name of LeSportsac..
Tokidoki Line: Carnival , Eco Mondo , Mezzanotte, Carbone, Concerto Punk and Celebrazione..
if u go to Tokidoki.it you will see the bags are actually listed there… all the style are similar to the Original LeSportsac TOkidoki Line…
December 20th, 2008 at 3:46 pm
Thanks. Here I thought they were fakes! Maybe I will get the the Canguro on steroids then!
December 20th, 2008 at 4:28 pm

January 14th, 2009 at 10:42 pm

January 14th, 2009 at 10:46 pm

Do they still sell tokidoki bags around toronto ontario canada?
January 23rd, 2009 at 9:31 pm
Gabriella, I live in Montreal and couldn’t find the concerto punk in Creativa in my area. I found out about a store in Toronto called DeCaterina on Bloor Street. I made a phone order and they are very friendly. This was back in November but they could still have some. You can also check others store located in Toronto that have Tokidoki at http://www.tokidoki.it/storelocator/
January 23rd, 2009 at 11:16 pm
Thanks marie! Ill check it out! Im acctually going to a store tommorow! Wish me luck!!! Do you know why bags are becoming out of stock?
January 27th, 2009 at 11:29 pm
i recently bought a bag in australia, from like a market, that has the label lesportsac on it, and a tag on it with information about tokidoki on it. it even had a qee on it, which has the “tokidoki for lesportsac” written on it. i am pretty sure it is a fake, because it only cost me AUS$50. what really puzzles me is that the actual style of it isnt here (its a backpack, but definitely not scola) and the patter is floral with paisley. however the zippers have the little character on them…. i dont really mind, because i bought the bag because i liked it, not because it was tokidoki. i just thought you would like to know about it.
January 31st, 2009 at 12:27 pm

My Tokidoki tranporto bag was stolen last week I am lost with out it! Where do I get a new one?
February 1st, 2009 at 12:37 am
Sara,
Transporto is a very old print… there will be no store carrying it… the only best bet is Ebay..
February 9th, 2009 at 10:35 pm
I am from Australia and i really want a LeSportSac Tokidoki Trenino bag, where can i buy it from!? I’m falling apart here.. are there any websites you can recommend?

where can I buy this Summer 2007 tokidoki for LeSportsac Collection 9518 - Luna (9.75″ x 18″ x 9.75″). Retail price: $210. with the fish print?
Thank you!
February 25th, 2009 at 4:21 am
Cissy- ebay
But before you bid read the “guide on how to spot fakes”.
February 25th, 2009 at 7:33 am
I WENT TO EBAY, NO LUCK ^0^
February 25th, 2009 at 12:26 pm
Cissy -
I’ve seen the Spiaggia lunas on eBay before. There isn’t one now, like you said, so you’ll just have to search eBay every now and then.
What I like to do is save searches on eBay. They can email you whenever a new item is listed that matches what you searched for. That may be a good option for you to try out.
February 28th, 2009 at 8:09 pm
Cissy- There is one for sale on the Tokidoki freeforum.

March 15th, 2009 at 8:05 pm
Hi there - This is my first time on this site. I just bought a bag on eBay and I did not see the style on the archive list. It is called the Carezza Concerto Punk bag… I didn’t see any Carezza bags in the archive? The eBay item # is 170310179586. Thanks in advance for any help/advice you are able to give me, Leigh
March 15th, 2009 at 8:51 pm
Leigh - it’s real. I hope you love it!

The new line of tokidoki bags aren’t on this archive yet.
March 15th, 2009 at 11:50 pm

Helerin - this is the info for the tokidoki store in Italy. I live in the USA, so I can’t answer any questions about what items they stock. Give them a call and ask.

May 9th, 2009 at 9:02 am
Which bag would be most practical as my 1st Tokidoki bag? Stellina or Campeggio?
May 9th, 2009 at 4:59 pm
Hi Jade,
what a coinsident. My name is Jade too..
Stellina and Campeggio style exactly the same.. except SIZE..
if u plan to use it as purse.. and u dont carry a lot of stuff with u all the time.. stellina is good enough..
if u plan to use it for school.. then Campeggio is definitely the pick…
I use Stellina on a daily bases… i am not sure if u familiar with the tokidoki bags…
i can fit one Portatelefono, the tokidoki wallet. a bottle of spring water and some minor stuff inside the main cabin.. then lil stuff into two mini pockets..
my friend.. a mother of TWO totlers… use the campeggio as diaper bags… fits perfectly…with all the small and big stuff…
but Jade.. just letting u know… the stellina and campeggio is the older style of tokidoki… no store will carry them except Ebay.. so make sure be very careful when u look for one… and if u are looking for the stellina style.. check out the tokidoki graziosa.. they have very similar style.

Hi, I just wanted to help out with the size issue of stellina vs. campeggio. I myself had trouble figuring it out until I googled aol and found a great website where the girl compares the bags to help us ou.

Hi.
I recently saw a leather Bocce handbag - with a small metal attachment identifying it as such. It had two fairly long, brown, braided leather straps, and a ‘patchwork’ of brown to beige pieces stitched together to create the bag. I’ve searched every site I can find with no luck - can anyone help me to find a place where I could purchase this handbag.
Thanks, jane
May 14th, 2009 at 8:40 pm
Jane - The bag that you are describing is definitely not a tokidoki bag.
May 18th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
Hola i wrote to you to know if there is a place in Santiago-Chile where i can buy your beautifull bags and others thing .
Or tell me how can i get another one from you.
Thanks

June 15th, 2009 at 12:41 am
Frederikke,
No store will carry them by now… the only best bet is Ebay. but becareful what you purchase… go to to the how to spot a fake bag section for a good tutorial…
July 16th, 2009 at 8:17 am
Thank you very much! i’ll try that!

I was just wondering if anyone can help me with the difference between Buon Viaggio and Avventura? the measurements?
July 26th, 2009 at 12:16 am
Really good guide, but i can’t seem to find any stores in Australia that sell scuola bags, do you have any idea where i may be able to buy one in Australia or a site that ships bags to Australia?
July 26th, 2009 at 1:09 am
Angie,
the only best bet will be ON ebay… because scuola is the older version of Tokidoki Bags…
July 31st, 2009 at 12:42 am
Thanks for this great guide. I just purchased a Spring 06 print bag in the Nuvola style. It is green inside but I cannot see this one on your blog. Does this mean it is a fake?
July 31st, 2009 at 1:21 am
It’s the inside color is listed at the top of each print and it does say that the inside is green on the Spring 06 print…however, I don’t see the Nuvola style pictured for that print?
July 31st, 2009 at 8:49 am
Jojo - Unfortunately, real spring 06 Nuvolas don’t exist. That style was never made for that print. Are you sure it’s not a Scuola?
July 31st, 2009 at 4:18 pm
Oh shame, it is definitely a Nuvola. I am in Australia and only paid $5 for it in a charity shop so no big deal but it is truly a magnificent fake! I will enjoy it anyway. Thanks
August 9th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
I just bought a tokidoki bag but somehow lost the tag with what kind it is. Every single thing about it is perfectly authentic except that it does not say LeSportsac on it anywhere. Everything else is perfect though. The qee was in plastic wrap with black writing and all the zippers are correct and all the hardware is right and the decorative chain.. its all there. Just no brand on the strap or zippers. If its fake they did an amazing job. Are the key rings that attach the qee supposed to be the same color as the rest of the bag hardware?
August 9th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
I just looked under the bags in the 2009 section and the print from mine is there, ‘discotecha’, but the bag is not. It also says they aren’t available everywhere.. but the pictures don’t show the straps saying LeSportsac. And the qee looks correct. I got mine at a Winners so really, can’t be sure of anything.
August 10th, 2009 at 1:34 am
Kenzie,
the tokidoki bags does not have LeSportsac imprint on the strap.. only the LeSportsac Tokidoki bags does.
I believe if u get it in Winners it is real, since its a pretty big chain store…
check Tokidoki.it or Macys.com for your bag styles..
look underneath the main zipper.. if there a M6 imprint underneath. its real..
all Tokidoki & LeSportsac tokidoki bags has that imprint..
as far as i know. the European edition and the Target Version does not comes with the imprint..
August 12th, 2009 at 12:48 am
awesome, thanks. I just assumed all bags were by LeSportsac. .. And I know winners sells a lot of knock offs of Kenzie brand and Victorinox, so I wasn’t sure.
August 12th, 2009 at 6:46 pm
OMG I found a Tokidoki for LeSportsac at Winners today, it was only C$55 (cuz they obvously put on the wrong label, lol) I was like so happy and everything, I’d been looking for them everywhere (even though I know they are retired now). The bag didn’t have a bear qee or an adios key chain, but I thought that might be the reason why it was so cheap, so I didn’t really mind.
Until when I came home and compared it I saw the bag:
1.had no tokidoki nor made in China tag
2.had no M6 imprint under the main zipper
3.most importantly, the logo says FLOWER SPRING
I suppose it’s a definite fake.I’m returning the bag tomorron.
I’m so pissed I thought Winners is supposed to sell authentic brand name products. Maybe this is only an “accident”
p.s. I’m really jealous of you, Kenzie!!
August 13th, 2009 at 9:07 pm
I WANT to buy a fake for my 6 year old sister. I know, I know but she’s too young to keep it in good shape. I want a fake Foresta ciao. She’s obsessed with my Foresta Ciao Ciao. Any ideas?
* I almost feel guilty ASKING for fake info… but I don’t want to giver her a real one YET *
August 14th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
Am debating buying a Tokidoki backpack. Do you think it’s big/sturdy enough for a large binder, textbooks, other school stuff, etc.?
August 15th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
Samanth, I understand your concern, cuz little kids are marvelous at destroying stuff.
There’s a list of fake tokidoki sellers on eBay on this blog. Or if you don’t feel like buying online, depending on where you are, there are usually markets with a bunch of Chinese or Thai sellers selling fake stuff.
For example, in Toronto, we have the Pacific Mall.
Or you can just wait for a while cuz usually children’s obsessions pass away quite fast. The experience of getting a counterfeit last week really pissed me off.
August 18th, 2009 at 9:24 pm
Tracy: OMGD!! really??!! Winners sells fake Tokidoki??? which location??
I bought two of my bags there but they are definitely real although they are the newer style Discoteca. I wonder how they managed to get a fake?? well at least you managed to return it >
August 24th, 2009 at 8:20 pm
question: someone on eBay is selling an OP Portatelefono… the layout is vertical, NOT horizontal like the angioletto… it’s fake, right? when they did the re-releases they didn’t make an OP Portatelefono.
Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200376756 229#ht_925wt_1167
(SORRY, I don’t know how to make it a link!)

Carly,
I have a Concerto Punk Abbraccio and I love it. It’s really big and sturdy, and I have gotten stopped in the hallways by people complimenting my bag. I don’t recommend the messenger because it would be a strain on your shoulder. I’m really happy with the bag I have and would recommend the style to anyone.

I was wondering if anyone knows if on the website zappos.com are the tokidoki bags on that website real? most of the pics of the bags dont show the little quee keychain. Do all authentic bags have the quee keychain?

I am new to tokidoki, but have been doing homework on authenticity for little while now. I saw a girl with one at Disney and had to do research to even locate the brand. Of course the print I so want is the Vacanze and it’s not available anyplace now but ebay. With all the fakes on ebay, I don’t want to get one (had a bout with a fake Chanel last year, seller banned and my husband ended up buying me two Chanel’s from the boutique here for our 30th anniversary).
Question: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280435038 096&_trksid=p2761.l1259#ht_500wt_1160
This autction for ID# 280435038096 is listed as Ciao Ciao Vacanze and gently used. Upon emailing the seller, the seller says the qee is the gray one with rainbow on head (the one this guide says), inside is gray, hardware silver, and zipper pull has stamped flower face. She says she bought it last year (the print is from 2006 I think) cause it was re-issued. That said - I have no idea if it’s real or not. I want a big bag and there aren’t many in this print available (that I’ve seen). Would anyone please look at the auction and help me out here? Please email me at marysquad7@yahoo.com and thank you:)
December 15th, 2009 at 5:56 pm
Mary - It’s real.
December 30th, 2009 at 5:53 am

Sorry, I am new. Am amazed by the collection. I am a fan of Lesposrtsac. Like what Yukii mentoned…
Where can I find real tokidoki lesportsac bags?
January 29th, 2010 at 3:25 pm
April, ebay is your best bet for older styles. Newer styles can be purchased at places like karmaloop, zappos.com, and other sites in the links section of the blog. Before shopping, you should consult the guide on how to spot fakes. It will save you lots of trouble. There’s also a list of reputable ebay sellers. Both of those are linked here as well :). Happy hunting.
January 29th, 2010 at 11:39 pm
Thanks Rachel
January 30th, 2010 at 1:10 am
Hi! my lesportsac print is not listed here i hjope its not fake! its got a green cactus girl with a gun a big pink house penguins, red love heart with an arrow in it xmas tree with snow a boy with a stereo and heaps more pics on it and a rainbow zipper its like a satchel bag that opens up long and can be folded in half to look like a smaller handbag does this make any sense lol? thanks so much kind regards mell:)
January 30th, 2010 at 1:15 am
Mellanie, you should consult the guide on how to spot fakes listed on the right. This page isn’t a complete archive. Read the guide and use your best judgment. If you’re still having trouble take some pictures and post links to them. I’m sure we can help you figure it out.
January 30th, 2010 at 1:26 am
Thank you rachel! I checked the how to spot fakes and i was still a little bit stuck i have only just started to collecy these beautiful bags and unfortunately dont know much lol i thionk i may have to post a pic as i cant find this bags print anywhere. thank for the fast reply too!!:)

January 30th, 2010 at 11:41 am
Hey Grace, there are some in Pacific Mall, but you need to be careful there, because they also sell a lot of fakes. B2 & Little Burgundy and some Winners sell Tokidoki bags too! Hope this helps (:
February 3rd, 2010 at 1:28 pm
Do you know if the Transporto print was made in Bambinone style?
February 8th, 2010 at 10:42 am
So i need someones opinion.
Should i sell my adios star bambino to buy a Stella nera partenza?
I need to keep my collection small.
And Pg-chan, the Transporto does come in the Bambinone style.
