(….. still need to add a bunch more bag styles for this season …..)
(….. still need to add the final 2007 print: Vacanze …..)
Thank you rachel! I checked the how to spot fakes and i was still a little bit stuck i have only just started to collecy these beautiful bags and unfortunately dont know much lol i thionk i may have to post a pic as i cant find this bags print anywhere. thank for the fast reply too!!:)
Where can I find these beautiful bags in Toronto Ontario Canada? I would like to get one or two. Thanks!
Hey Grace, there are some in Pacific Mall, but you need to be careful there, because they also sell a lot of fakes. B2 & Little Burgundy and some Winners sell Tokidoki bags too! Hope this helps (:
Do you know if the Transporto print was made in Bambinone style?
So i need someones opinion.
Should i sell my adios star bambino to buy a Stella nera partenza?
I need to keep my collection small.
And Pg-chan, the Transporto does come in the Bambinone style.
Thanks Janice! I will see if Pacific Mall have them. How can I know if those are fakes? I did come to Winners and could not find one.
I wonder if Winners sell Tokidoki bags are all real?
This is a fantastic resource, as is the page on spotting fakes. I just wish there were also a page with the solo Tokidoki designs also, as well as how to spot the fakes of those @_@;; Sometimes I get confused seeing all the recent designs.
Also, I’ve been having trouble accessing most of the blog pages lately because my virus software says there’s a Trojan infestation. I hope nothing happens to this resource…!
Pg-chan – Can you give me any more details about what your virus software says? Or an example of a page on this blog that you can’t access? I need to check and see if there’s a problem…
Uh, for the benefit of anybody reading these comments, the virus problem was resolved. ^^;
Where can I find all these bags in Los Angeles, CA?
How I love the Tokidoki for lesportsac line of bags ^^
Unfortunately none of these bags can be found in stores anymore as they pretty much immediately sold out once they were released. I started collecting these bags back in 2008 in which the Vacanze *x-mas print* was the last to come out from this collaboration. Most of mine came from either ebay or craigslist *suprisingly and I managed to get a few pretty cheap and legit* but be prepared to pay a hefty price if you want to get a legit tokidoki bag however sometimes you can get lucky during an auction and get it cheap.
If I had known about Tokidoki earlier I would have definetely gone to Winners. I bought two of my bags there but the newer style of Tokidoki bags not Lesportsac. They are 100% real at Winners and always be on the look out because they do get them occasionally. You just have to be lucky and be at the right place at the right time. Pacific Mall would be the last place I would go to if I wanted to buy a Tokidoki bag unless I didn’t mind getting a fake although I wouldn’t recommend it personally since the quality is pretty crappy. They do not sell real Tokidoki bags there so I would avoid getting one there at all costs.
So ultimately ebay, Winners or craigslist is the best way to go if you want to snag one of these bags. I wish I bought a bunch earlier and sold them since alot of these go for triple their value now since they are all collectors items and will never be made again sadly * I’m not too impressed with the new collection one bit*
Hope all this information helps! ^^
I sell authentic Tokidoki bags on ebay ( seller name flwgrl). At the moment I don’t have any LeSac ones, just the regular Tokidoki. All my bags come with the Qee and are guaranteed authentic. I love these bags and am always on the search for them.
april – do you sell any l’amore prints?i would like one in a ciao ciao style.
and if anyone knows, is the ciao ciao style folded in the pictures?case i’ve seen some on ebay that are longer.
Tran I have a ciao ciao Spiaggia bag and you can wear it either way: folded in half like an envelope or you can unclip the carabiners on each side and clip it on the top hoops of the bag and lay it out flat and wear it across your body ^^
The ciao ciao is pretty huge compared to the ciao bag and can fit alot of things. That’s what I love about this bag is you can wear it two different ways and plus I’m always a fan of bags with adjustable straps that you don’t have to carry
Hope that helps. Any other questions you have I’d be happy to answer them ^^
Cheers!
ok,thanks
ive been trying to sell stuff to get a bag in the ciao ciao style, but i wasnt sure which one it was cause some i saw folded, and some longer.
Tran I wish you the best of luck in finding a ciao ciao in the l’amore style ^^ It’s a really cute print
I have the bambinone bag in that print. It looks small but it holds quite alot of things. There is one auction on ebay now for a ciao ciao l’amore but it quite pricy *something like $270 0_____0 If I come across one that’s cheaper or if I know someone who might be selling theirs I will post here and let you know.
I love this line of Tokidoki bags but they are so hard to find these days since they stopped making them
i live in Melbourne ausustralia(vic) and i have no idea where to buy REAL tokidoki products, can you help me?
I live in France and I love Tokidoki but I can’t by it :’(
buy*
if anyone is interested in selling their pegaso incontro style bag, please let me know! i can’t find any right now! or if you know of one (not too inflated $) online, plmk!
i just recently got into the Tokidoki style of bags and think they are amazing. I’ve been on the lookout for Tokidoki bags and have found them at century 21 in NY, since I was not impressed with their small selection I also stopped by the flagship store in Soho. I was disappointed that they have the new prints and charge more then the listed price online, while I was able to get an older print I found the selection very limiting.
From a business perspective being that the demand is so high for these pocketbooks my suggestion is to give the client more variety and selection in the purchasing process. Instead of having Tokidoki customers looking for other outlets to purchase products empower them by allowing them the ability to purchase what they want. I’ve been on the Lesportsac website and like their layout, they give you the option of choosing any style bag you want and then you choose any print you want. Not only is this simpler then running around looking for a product but it also encourages me the client to want to continue to support the brand. By making it that much harder to buy something that I really like it makes me second guess my purchase.
As far as the fake Tokidoki bags are concerned the reason for their existence is we as the consumers are supporting their production. Whether we realize it or not because of their high demand for this product counterfeiters are only servicing the needs of the consumer. If Tokiaki products were more accessible that need would be diminished, because what would be the need to counterfeit something if it is already accessible to the customer at an reasonable price?. Think about it, Tokidoki already sells bags upwards of at least one hundred dollars, on ebay I’ve seen prices for similar bags ranging from at least two hundred and up (as to their credibility, who knows they more then likely are fakes) but the point that I’m trying to make is why should it be this hard to buy a bag?
Am I the only one that feels this way?
So is there a difference in the Lesportsac Tokidoki bags than the Tokidoki bags?
Charlene- yes, there is a difference. a lot of people say the new tokidoki bags are not the same quality as the Lesportsac one and also the fabric is slightly different and more lightweight, I believe.
Looking for a black 9516 – Andiamo (large – 13.75″ x 16.25″ x 7.25″). New or used.
I would have to say, “I TOTALLY agree with Dee”!
umm i like the ciao ciao pattern stellina they dont sell the bag where i live i tryed ebay but they sell it for 350 and above does anyone know where i can get a bag tht is a reasonable price?
Alice,
Ciao Ciao Stellina is one of the older Print of LeSportsac Tokidoki, your chances to find them in a store is ZERO ~
only best bet is Ebay…
but make sure u carefully choose who you buy it from ~
yeah Ebay is your only bet or sometimes Craigslist is a great site to check too.
I bought 4 of my Lesportsac Tokidoki bags from there at amazing prices and they were all mint to new condition ^^ Sometimes I wish I lived in Hawaii since there are alot of people that sell legit Tokidoki bags locally for a good price
i have a NWT Leo Ragazza w/Qee that i am selling. don’t know if i’m allowed to mention it, but if i’m not please remove. if someone is interested, please let me know.
it’s definitely authentic. (w/riri zipperhead, etc)
thanks
I bought a Lesportsac Tokidoki notte bambino (with citta print on the inside) and the ball chain and zipper pull hardware all have a dull finish. Is it authentic?
I hsve stsrted collecting Tokidoki since the very start in 2006 and I have to disagree with Dee. Every collection from the beginning was meant to be a limited run so once they sold out then that was it on to the next print. So if you snoozed then you lose ! As heartbreaking as that sounds that was the intention from the start. I own many bags and the majority of my bags are from the sought after Tokidoki For LeSportSac Collection. I have noticed the increase in value that these older bags bring in my own collection. My intention is to NEVER sell my bags but I do appreciate that my very early ” investments ” have paid off.
And some of the early Tokidoki For LeSportSac prints were re-released in Hawaii for a brief time. Again sadly if you were not aware of Tokidoki at the time then you did missed the boat again ! I see the Tokidoki fan base grow every year and I do miss the older days when Tokidoki was still an “underground” brand with its members feeling as though they alone knew of a sweet secret. Simone Tokidoki’s creator was asked whether there would ever be a second re-release of the older Tokidoki For LeSportSac prints and he stated no as he wanted that line to remain in its limited numbers thus growing more rare and elusive.
So as stated above E-Bay as well as other online retailers are your only hope of scoring the older Tokidoki For LeSportSac line ! I just scored a excellent used care Paradiso Bella for $ 50.00 through Los Angeles Craigslist and the seller is willing to ship the bag for free ! I find that many Craigslist sellers are willing to ship. So there are still deals to be found for the older Tokidoki For LeSportSac bags. But you have to act fast as many people myself included are ALWAYS on the hunt to add yet another bag to their ever growing collection.
I would not like to see yet another re-release since after the last one people bought bags in very large numbers only to ” flip” on online outlets such as E-Bay at vey inflated prices thus driving the market ever higher and higher. While I understand your frustration Dee it was a market ploy that worked keep the numbers limited for each new print thus creating a greater desire and urgency to buy for the next line. I cannot fathom nor do I want to think about how much I have spent on my Tokidoki collection as I own every item from the very first and rare Tokidoki For Hello Kitty Line as well ! I am a ” old time ” collector from 2006 devotion has it’s good points as I have never missed a season or print. So I would be upset if the older Tokidoki For LeSportSac prints were re-released as I have spent a good deal of money and time building my collection. For new comers of Tokidoki it seems unreasonable to expect an artist to reapeat a line because you have just discovered the line.
I agree with Veronica. I just think it is a shame that the new bags aren’t even close to on par with the old designs. It would indeed be a shame to re-release the old bags, but it would be nice to see a return to the same quality construction and design. The new bags just seem lackluster and a mere shadow of the bags that came before. I think that Discoteca and Geometric Girl were probably the last really awesome prints, sadly. Looking at the resale values on eBay, it is very apparent that the prints are what people are after. Notte, Fumo, and Bianco prints are lucky to fetch HALF of what their print counterparts from their respective seasons would go for. But at the same time, Mr. Legno is the designer, not us. And if this is what he feels like doing, then that’s what we will get. Maybe one day he’ll start designing bags we can go crazy for again.
Well said Veronica (Tokilove)
Hi David ! Yes I still post here too ! ( kawikakoike )
Hi, I’m new at buying LeSportsac bags and was wondering if they ever came out with a pattern with the Betty Boop cartoon character? I’m wondering if I picked up a fake. thank you
i know this isn’t lesportac but is this bag real or fake
i need help
http://www.chicki.co.uk/bags/Tokidoki-Sweet-Gothic-Bag/prod_ 3660.html
@Pam,
none of the older or newer bags has Betty Boop Cartoon on it. ALL tokidoki characters are created by Simone.. i wont say the Betty Boop bag is fake but it definitely not a TOKIDOKI.
@Nimz,
its real, this website sell European Tokidoki only. I have purchased from them before….
OMG THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
i’m so buying it now!!
you have made me so happy!!
Was a Foresta Cucciolo made? THAT would be my ultimate bag!!
Thanks in advance!
If you look at the guide, the Foresta Cucciolo is pictured……
Hello, again! Was an OP corriere made? There’s one on eBay right now, and I’m confused: help!

Boy,
the corriere comes in Fall of 2006 , i doubt that this is real.. but you can always ask for more picture… especially the *zipper Pull* imprint.. that can not be fake ~
I was wondering where i can order Tokidoki Canguros online for a decent price.
ebay, but not for decent prices lol
